Shanghai Kid Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Holy Shit Cena just OWNED that segment. The death of Smackdown is on by the way.
Zetterberg is God Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 What a great segment. Too bad it didn't happen a week ago, though Calgary would have sided with Christian most likely and ruined everything.
DMann2003 Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 You know, I love Batista and all, but he CAN'T own a crowd like Cena
Dimensions Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 See, that's what I'm talking about. That segment was the new generation...the new wave.
Downhome Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 This is what wrestling has been missing for so many years. We almost never have segments that solid, from what WWE is presenting to the crowd. Damn that felt good seeing that. First we have a fantastic ECW/Vince/Bishoff/Heyman segment last week, and now this.
CanadianChris Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Cena made himself the most legit face threat on RAW in years, in about 10 minutes. Nice work.
BUTT Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 I bet Batista goes to SD after Vengeance. Assuming HHH doesn't win the title there.
Anakin Flair Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 See- I like this. This is what they needed to be doing to keep my interest. Can't wait to see what happens next with the Draft.
Mole Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 This actually might get me to watch Raw from now on. Might.
Precious Roy Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 I'm thinking Batista retains in the HIAC, and Bischoff uses the leverage of having both world titles, plus HHH sticking his nose in, to trade Batista and the World Title to SD for a king's ransom, a deal revolving around Undertaker probably, since he's the strongest booked guy in the company. But who knows, there's many ways to take it, I just pray they don't move Cena back to SD because that will piss off people just as much as the bait and switch with HHH last year
Conspiracy_Victim Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Now we need Sandman (I would like the full entrance, but won't happen) caning the shit out of HHH while smoking a nonfiltered and drinking a beer. That would automatically make this my favorite. RAW. EVAR~!
Guest Quik Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 78 users are in the thread... that's a good number. Could there be something on Raw that's actually attracting viewers?
CBright7831 Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Smackdown is even more fucked. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Batista has to go to Smackdown, but theres no way he's a draw on Smackdown. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, that won't be happening for about three more weeks because Batista has a match with Triple H coming up.
Mole Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 See- I like this. This is what they needed to be doing to keep my interest. Can't wait to see what happens next with the Draft. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah. It has the "Monday Night Wars" feel to it.
Kahran Ramsus Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Batista isn't good enough to carry Smackdown. They need Cena. And Cena needs to stay away from HHH at all costs.
Superfly Snuka Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Already almost the best raw ever; I smell something big happening with ECW part of show tonight also. I wonder if Cena coming to Raw means the WWE is considering ECW type show as the Fiday show eventually
Mole Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 WHATHWHATHEHTASEHTAHTA??/ ANOTHER DIVA SEARCH?? Good God. Nevermind, I won't be watching Raw again.
Exslade ZX Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Ok, so there will only be 8 finalists. That's good. And Wow, Hassan getting a IC shot? Nice. I guess they really are building Shelton as the ultimate threat. Before, it was he could beat anybody. (around the time he 'feuded' with Snitsky) And now, he can beat any two men. I guess soon enough, he'll be saying he's beat everyone for the IC title, and ready for the world title.
Shanghai Kid Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 I hope this isn't a tease where Cena gets traded back to Smackdown next week or something. His rhymes need to be live on Raw, it's his best chance at being the next big superstar.
jwpeer Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Holy crap, and we finally get Hassan v. Shelton for the IC ... This raw is nuts if this match ends up as good as it could be.
Anakin Flair Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 New IC champ tonight, or will it end in a DQ?
Kahran Ramsus Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 I hope this isn't a tease where Cena gets traded back to Smackdown next week or something. His rhymes need to be live on Raw, it's his best chance at being the next big superstar. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not with HHH around it isn't.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Well Kahran, I agree with you. I doubt it's going to happen though. I would like it if Cena was traded back, but you knew he was going to have to go through HHH eventually. ANOTHER handicap match for Benjamin? Man, when's he going to play the race card on Bischoff?
DMann2003 Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 I'd actually like to see a Batista/JBL or Batista/Angle fued for the World title, that'd be fresh
GreatWhiteNope Posted June 7, 2005 Author Report Posted June 7, 2005 Did the announcer just call him the current Intercontinental champion? I'd guess Shelton's losing the title.
