Damn I wish I had the money to spare for the road trip to Valpo for Punk vs Delirious. I might try to go to Salem but that road trip isn't that much shorter but it's a Friday and I don't have to work the next day so there's no hurry to get back.

As for TPI, looks good so far. Now I gotta decide if I use my vacation week to go to TPI or the ROH double shot in August.

And who is this Brookside dude and why is everyone getting all worked up over him being in the tourney?

And who is this Brookside dude and why is everyone getting all worked up over him being in the tourney?

Robbie Brookside is the man responsible for training guys like Steven Regal, as well as having a hand in training "Double C" Claudio Castagnoli and definately has had his influence on today's US indy scene through guys like CM Punk, Chris Hero, Colt Cabana, Nigel McGuinness, and Bryan Danielson. He's a modern-day fore-father for British wrestling.

Three new additions to the TPI field, from the IWA's board. Mike Quackenbush, Super Dragon and Kevin Steen are now announced names, bringing the field up to 12. Three great additions. And Quack officially becomes my pick for the tournament.

Quack and Dragon had a good semifinals match last year.

I'd like to see IWA put at least one of their own in the finals this year. Last year it was Dragon, Joe, and AJ. The three biggest names, sure, but no real IWA guys.

I don't know if Quack will/should make it to the finals this year...him winning BOTB5 kind of killed the mystique of him winning TPI.

I really wish the finals were one-on-one...then the finals would be easy as hell to predict: Sydal vs. Styles, with Sydal finally getting the win. I still expect Sydal to finally get his win over Styles somewhere in the tournament.

I think Danielson'll probably be in the finals again. Hero'll probably gain a momentum rally coming off of War Games and get into the finals. The third guy? Most likely someone who isn't even announced yet.

Definitely going to Valpo on Saturday and definitely going to TPI to support my two boys. Although Tyler has been saying that he hasn't been feeling too great lately, and he's even told Ian he might not be good to go for Valpo, since he wants to pull out all the stops in his TLC match with Ryan Boz and Abyss for No Limits.

Jimmy Rave, El Generico, Delirious or Puma would be great additions.

(this is just a question, but has a Masked Wrestler ever been in one of the TPIs?)

Not a bad line up to me. Brookside is probably the weakest, IMO, but not because of his skills. He's fun to watch, just a bit unknown to most casual indy fans.

Also not a HUGE Rainman fan. Dunno why.

Rave would of been a better addition.

They're will probably still be a 3 or 4 matches throughtout the tournament that are Non Tournament Matches. I wouldnt mind seeing Another Jacobs v. Delirious ladder match.
