GreatWhiteNope Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Hell in a Cell - the day after June 27, 2005 Batista and Triple H tore each other apart in the demonic structure known as Hell in a Cell. Both absorbed punishment from a chain, barbed-wire steel chair, sledgehammer and metal ring steps — in addition to bloodying blows from the unforgiving Cell itself. In the end, Batista emerged still World Heavyweight Champion, surviving a Pedigree and turning back the 10-time former world champion. But what awaits the Animal on RAW fewer than 24 hours after the most brutal beating of his life? Will it be a night of celebration, or will those with their eye on the prize look to strike while Batista is in a weakened state? To the delight of the Chain Gang, John Cena will walk into Anaheim, Calif., with the WWE Championship … and likely a few words for opponents Chris Jericho and Christian. How will Y2J and “Captain Charisma” respond after coming so very close to capturing the WWE Championship, only to see it slip away? Intercontinental Champion Carlito made it two-for-two against Shelton Benjamin, again reaching into his bag of tricks to earn a crucial win. After coming up just short at Vengeance, where does Shelton go from here? Lita must also be wondering what will happen next after watching her fiancée Edge fall at the hands of furious Kane. It certainly seemed like things aren’t settled between Christy and Victoria after what went down at Vengeance. Will the fiery redhead get her hands on Victoria on RAW? And after watching her new love Viscera leave her in most unusual fashion on Sunday, what does the brokenhearted Lilian Garcia do now? In addition, don’t miss the dramatic finale of RAW’s half of the Draft Lottery as two Superstars move from SmackDown! to Monday nights. After seeing marquee names such as John Cena, Kurt Angle and Carlito drafted, who’s next and what impact will it have on RAW? Lilian attempting suicide off the TitanTron would totally make this show.

Edge should have been booked to win at Vengeance to make him seem like a title contender. after watching her new love Viscera leave her in most unusual fashion on Sunday, what does the brokenhearted Lilian Garcia do now? What happened? "Hooooooooooooooo traaaaaiiiinnnn!" Will HHH be in the opening of the show with bandages on his forehead and wear dark glasses demanding a rematch with the stip of Last Man Standing? Batista might be going to Smackdown, so that may not happen.

Guest Coffey Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 A Russian Chain Match? Special Guest Referee: Nikita Koloff.
iggymcfly Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Since Batista and Cena are still together on the same show, and they've both dispatched of their challengers, they should at least tease a match between the two of them tonight. If Batista was cutting a promo about how he destroyed HHH and proved that he was the absolute #1 guy in the business, and then Cena's music hit, I bet the roof would blow off the place.

Cena is in the ring talking about how he's the #1 guy in the business and then Batista's music hits... ...oh wait, they changed Batista's theme and gave him new generic rock. Yeah, your scenario is better.
Silence Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 A Russian Chain Match? Special Guest Referee: Nikita Koloff. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Will Dusty Rhodes be the special enforcer or the ring announcer? Rhodes:"Makin' hith way to tha ring..........tha challenjah, Tribble Aiiitch!"
Guest Coffey Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 There's only one "true" special enforcer: Chuck Norris! Let Dussee Rhoaz be on commentary. "Belly Welly!"
SuperJerk Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Its kind of stupid for Edge not to use his title shot tonight, given the chance that Batista could get drafted to Smackdown.

Or do it the other way around? Cena is in the ring talking about how he's the #1 guy in the business and then Batista's music hits... ...oh wait, they changed Batista's theme and gave him new generic rock. Yeah, your scenario is better. Batista's music isn't all that different to his old one, having listened to it over. It's a generic, nu-metal version, but they didn't exactly 'change' it. Wow, that was a pretty insignificant point. Uhm...hopefully, they don't rape Smackdown's roster much more. I'm really worried Eddie's going to show up on RAW at some point, after the way Smackdown ended last week. And if that's what they're planning, then Guerrero runs the risk of completely getting lost in the shuffle, where-as now he's had the opportunity and most importantly time to build his heel character up again on Smackdown. I'm also worried they'll be sending JBL other, which again takes away a big part of Smackdown.
iggymcfly Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 They'd be stupid to send JBL over, because I guarantee you that at least half the Raw audience still sees him as "that gay cowboy that used to team with Faarooq". If you ask me, they sent over too many main eventers to make it credible, and they really should send over somebody random like Torrie Wilson or Scotty 2 Hotty.
razazteca Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 JBL is the cowboy that carries a cowbell and goes MOOOOOOOOOO and when he is not in the ring he reads the Wall Street Journal.
King Cucaracha Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 They have trades for that iggy. I think the reason for all the main event switches is so they can A) get a big pop, obviously...but B) to get guys they value like Cena and Benoit swapped before the trades, so they seem like big acquisitions, rather than just guys Bischoff/Long didn't want. Which is exactly why I see Jericho traded instead of drafted.

They need to switch up some midcard-lower midcarders too, to make it seem more realistic. Tonight, I'd Like to see: RAW Charlie Haas Chavo Guerrero SMACKDOWN! Batista Tyson Tomko
naiwf Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 I still want MNM and Melina on RAW, which could lead to a decent angle as Bischoff's old apprentice Johnny Nitro returns to his old show. I don't care if it ruins that highly anticipated match between Melina and McCool on SD, but I think it would make sense to rape the last semblance of disposable talent from the show they've been stripping for parts since the draft started.
ChrisMWaters Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Any chance we'll see the return of Trish Stratus tonight?
Downhome Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 Hopefully RAW will be booked better tonight than it was last week...
Guest Fook Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 But what awaits the Animal on RAW fewer than 24 hours after the most brutal beating of his life? Will it be a night of celebration, or will those with their eye on the prize look to strike while Batista is in a weakened state? So does this mean Edge will use his MITB title shot on Batistia tonight? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> From a logical standpoint, he'd have to be a complete moron to not use it. Which means of course that it's not going to happen.
SuperJerk Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 Came across this... Who will the final RAW draft picks be? This is only a RUMOR at this point but word is that Rey Mysterio and the Big Show will be the final RAW picks in the Draft Lottery tonight. Guest *KNK* Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 That would be so wrong. The first part of it.

UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 Batista's new music is better than his old one. It's just louder, and if anything, less "generic", IMO, with the changes in the sounds and pauses.
SuperJerk Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 That would be so wrong. The first part of it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree.
Guest Tjhe CyNick Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 Actually I dont think there's anything wrong with Rey going to RAW. Either him or Eddie has to go. If Batista is going to end up on SD, RAW needs another face to replace him. As for RAW tonight, they should do a face to face with Batista and Cena, just to tease a match and talk about the Rumble, Mania, whatever. Then have Christian and Jericho come out and set up a tag match. I figure HHH will be gone for a little while. I'm guessing with no PPV in July for RAW, they'll be building up to a major RAW with Angle-HBK maybe in an Iron Man and Cena-Jericho for the WWE Title.
Guest *KNK* Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 At some point Raw needs a new theme song and set and video
Exslade ZX Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 Woa..Coach commentating RAW too now? Awesome.
ChrisMWaters Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 Angle out first...wonder what he's got to say.
