Just John 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2005 Suppose you died and went to heaven. As a wrestling fan, you get to set up your own show. You have every wrestler ever at your disposal in their prime, no risks of injuries, and no politics. What type of show do you book? To make it somewhat challenging, use each wrestler only once. On the flipside, say you went to hell. Satan pretends to be nice by inviting you to a wrestling event, only for it to turn out to be the worst ever. What are you subjected to? Edit - Results seem to be the in thing, so I'll include mine Heaven Card: (Lucha 6-man tag) Rey Mysterio Jr, Juventud Guerrera, and Hector Garza vs. Psychosis, La Parka, and Super Crazy (Rey pins Psychosis with the west coast pop at 15:24 to cap the back-and-forth, action-packed opener) Kanyon vs. RVD (RVD misses the 5-star, allowing Kanyon to put him away with the flatliner at 12:01) Chris Benoit vs. Ultimo Dragon (Both men work on the neck for their respective finishers. Benoit counters a tiger suplex attempt with the crossface for the tap out win at 19:55) Dean Malenko vs. Kurt Angle (Malenko breaks out of the ankle lock and gets the cloverleaf on for the eventual tap out at 15:13) Vader vs. Brock Lesnar (After lots and lots of power moves, Lesnar ends the match at 10:51 with the F5) Bret Hart vs. Eddie Guerrero (Bret makes Eddie tap to the sharpshooter at 25:21 to cap this back-and-forth classic) (WCW Triple Cage) Hardys vs. Dudleys vs. E/C (Gotta have a spotfest) (E/C grab the briefcase on top of the cage, but that's only half the battle. The case changes hands several times, but ultimately, E/C deliver a con-chair-to to Bubba as he's about to exit. E/C crawl to victory at 21:13) Chris Jericho vs. Owen Hart (Jericho counters a hurricanrana attempt with the lion tamer for the pass out victory at 14:44 since Owen wouldn't tap) Steiners vs. Haas and Benjamin (TWGTT works over the back of Scott for a good while, but Scott still manages to execute a top-rope DDT to Haas off the shoulders of Rick and takes himself out in the process. Rick gets the pin at 18:01) (Ultimate mind games feud) Jake Roberts vs. Raven (Raven attempts to DDT Jake, but Jake holds the ropes sending Raven to the mat. As Jake leans in to pick him up, Raven springs up and nails the even flow for the pin at 13:13) Shawn Michaels vs. Sting (Sting ducks the SCM and hits the scorpion death drop at 23:20 for the win) (War Games match to determine the best stable ever) The Original Horsemen vs. The NWO (Hogan, Hall, Nash, Syxx) (Flair makes Hogan tap cleanly to the figure 4 at 40:31) Hell: (Lucha 6-man tag) Rey Mysterio Jr, Juventud Guerrera, and Hector Garza vs. Psychosis, La Parka, and Super Crazy (30 seconds in, Scott Steiner interferes and breaks the ankles of Hector, Psychosis, La Parka, and Super Crazy. He then puts Rey and Juvi in the Steiner recliner at the same time for 5 minutes) An Entire Diva search competition (Lasts about 2 1/2 hours. Hosted by Jerry Lawler) Vince McMahon vs. Bret Hart (Vince wins with the sharpshooter after telling Hebner to "Ring the fucking bell" at 30:25. Vince dominates most of the match) (Botched spotfest) Sabu vs. Jeff Hardy (Jeff goes for the Swanton, misses and breaks his neck. Sabu tries a spot with a chair but slips and breaks his neck after knocking out the ref. After 30 minutes of everyone laying immobile, the ref comes to and the match ends in a double countout) Masterlock Challenge (Masters challenges about 30 people in a row) Hulk Hogan vs. Roddy Piper (Both in 2005 form) (After 45 minutes of sloppy, slow brawling, Hogan wins with the leg drop, then poses for 10 minutes) Chyna vs. Asya (GM Stephanie McMahon turns this match into a "you must strip your opponent naked to win" match. They both go topless 2 minutes in... Then 50 minutes later, it ends in a draw. Viscera vs. Mark Henry (Viscera wins with a big splash at 29:12) (1 hour "reverse chinlock only" submission match) Albert vs. Billy Gunn Tied 0-0, the match goes to a 30 minute OT. It looks like Albert wins, but it's ruled that Billy tapped to a camel clutch not a reverse chinlock. The match continues for 4 hours and 30 minutes where Billy gets Albert to tap.) Then we're forced to watch the ppv replay.
Hunter's Torn Quad 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2005 JoeDirt did a similar thread to this back in March: It's the perfect boredom killer! Okay, here is the deal. You can make your card be a WWE/F, WCW, or ECW PPV, except you can't use the Royal Rumble or World War 3. You can do any other gimmick PPV if you want (like KOTR or Survivor Series or whatever). Your PPV must have from 8-10 matches, using any wrestlers living or dead. You must: -Use a former Wrestlemania or Starrcade main event as one of your matches. -You must use Blackjack Mulligan, Lenny Lane, old school Taz, and a form of Sid (regular, Sycho, Justice, Vicious, etc) on your card in some form. -At least two of your matches must end after outside interference of some form. -Babyface/s must do something embarrassing or comedic to a heel manager after one match. -At least two of your matches must be singles matches that never happened in wrestling history, to the best of your knowledge. -You must include either Undertaker, HHH, Hulk Hogan, or Shawn Michaels on the card, and his match must have a finish obviously altered because he bitched about the booking and used politics to change things. -One match should have plenty of blood. And the card I came up with would fit right in for hell: The memory of WCW presents We Can Fuck It Up For You Wholesale Hulk Hogan beat Brutus Beefcake in 23 minutes and 13 seconds when Ric Flair interfered on behalf of Beefcake, but Hogan nailed him with the big boot and legdrop and pinned Flair. After the match, Hogan hit Beefcake with the big boot and legdrop and pinned him as well. Hogan then posed for 10 minutes. -**** Taz beat Sid Vicious in 7 seconds when Hulk Hogan distracted Vicious, allowing Taz to hook on the Tazzmission. After the match, Hulk Hogan entered the ring, nailed Sid with the big boot and legdrop, pinned him, and posed for 10 minutes. -**** Blackjack Mulligan beat Lenny Lane in 9 minutes and 14 seconds by stoppage after hitting Lane with a cowbell, causing Lane to be busted open, and the referee deeming Lane unfit to continue due to loss of blood. After the match, Hulk Hogan entered the ring, nailed Lane with the big boot and legdrop, pinned him, and posed for 10 minutes. -** Pierre the Quebecer, managed by Jacques Rougeau, beat Dave Sullivan in 14 minutes 3 seconds when Jacques tripped Sullivan up from the outside and Pierre cradled Sullivan for the win. After the match, Hulk Hogan hit the ring, nailed Pierre with the big boot and legdrop and pinned him. Hogan then gave Jacques a super atomic wedgie, before hitting him with the big boot and legdrop and pinning him too. Hogan then posed for 10 minutes. -** In a triangle match, Viscera beat Gene Snitsky and Heidenreich in 30 minutes 6 seconds when Viscera splashed and pinned Heidenreich. After the match, Snitsky and Heidenreich went to attack Viscera, but Hulk Hogan ran in to make the save by hitting both Snitsky and Heidenreich with big boots and legdrops, before pinning both of them at the same time. Hogan then posed for 10 minutes, as Viscera was given oxygen at ringside. -***** In a gauntlet match, Kevin Nash pinned Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, and Eddie Guerrero in less than 15 seconds each. All three matches saw Nash jump his opponents before the bell, hit the jackknife powerbomb, and pin them with one foot. Nash then went to powerbomb them all again, but Hulk Hogan ran in the make the save, hitting Nash with the big boot and legdrop and counting his own pin on Nash. After this, Hogan posed for 10 minutes, as Benoit, Jericho and Guerrero all knelt before him in supplication. -***** Christopher Daniels and AJ Styles fought to a no-contest in 18 seconds after clashing heads and being knocked out. As both men lay prone on the mat, Hulk Hogan hit the ring, hit both men with legdrops, pinned them both at the same time, and then posed for 10 minutes. -***** Hulk Hogan beat Roddy Piper in 20 minutes and 11 seconds via disqualification when Bob Orton Jr and Paul Orndorff interfered and tried to beat Hogan up. Hogan instead Hulked Up, laid all of them out with three big boots, hit legdrops on them all, and pinned Piper with his left hand, Orton Jr with his right hand, and used his nose to pin Bundy. After the match, Hogan posed for 10 minutes, at which point the Pope appeared in the middle of the ring in a ray of brilliant light, and beatified Hogan, putting him on the road to sainthood. The lights went out, before coming back on to reveal Jesus Christ in the ring. Jesus announced that he was stepping down as King Of Kings having lost his smile, and was giving the title to Hogan instead. Hogan then posed for 40 days and 40 nights, before ascending to heaven, bodyslamming God, and announcing himself as the supreme being, brother. One million stars. spman 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2005 The card for me in hell: Undertaker beat Sid Vicious in 17 minutes with a Tombstone after Paul Bearer hits Sid with the Urn. The Outsiders and The Nasty Boys fight to a No Contest after 15 minutes. No moves are sold, and they just brawl to the back and the match is called. Kane defeats Heidenreich in 7 minutes after a fireball to the face Sabu defeats Tiger Jeet Singh in 25 minutes after completely missing a balcony dive which gets sold regardless. Mankind defeats Gene Snitsky in 12 minutes with the mandible claw. Action is completely non-existant and mostly invovles Mankind diving around Triple H wins a cruiserweight battle royal after personally eliminating every single participant, taking no offense, and last eliminating Chris Benoit

haws bah gawd 0 Report post Posted July 3, 2005 (edited) *Edited: I see that others are adding results of the cards to their posts, so I'll do the same* Heaven: COmmentary provided by Mike Tenay. Josh Matthews and Bobby Heenan HOT OPENER~! Kurt Angle vs Chris Benoit vs Dynamite Kid - Chris Benoit picks up the pin at 25:42 after catching Kurt Angle with the flying headbutt immediately after he folds Dynamite in half (in one of Dynamite's famous head-dropping spots) with a backdrop-driver. Paul London vs Ultimo Dragon - Dragon pins Lodon with an Asai DDT from the top rope at 15:20 after he crotches London onto the turnbuckle while attempting his London Calling. Stone Cold vs Sandman (ECW Rules) - A wild brawl ends at 17:25 with Austin spitting a mouthfull of beer into Sandman's face then giving him the Stunner. 1999-2000 HHH vs a younger Ric Flair - Ric Flair counters a Pedigree attempt by pulling HHH's legs from under him, then locks him in the Figure-Four for the clean tap-out at 20:01 Shelton Benjamin vs RVD (MUST be allowed to go balls-out) - One of the finest spot-fests ever witnessed ends with Shelton eating a Van Terminator after 25+ minutes of relentless back and forth action. AJ Styles vs Rey Mysterio - AJ counters the West Coast Pop into the Styles Clash in mid flip (only Rey doesnt nearly felate himself ala Kazarian) for the pin at 10:34. Brock Lesnar vs 1996 Yokozuna (Just for the visual of Yokozuna taking the F-5) - This lasts under 5 minutes but highlights are Yokozuna taking a German Suplex, running Powerslam out of the corner, and finally Brock muscling the 600+ lb Sumo into the F-5 for the pinfall. A healthy Undertaker (Ministry Gimmick) vs Raven vs Sting (Crow Gimmick) (Raven's Rules) - Sting drills Raven with the Scorpion Deathdrop then does the impossible and makes the Undertaker submit to the Scorpion Deathlock at 25:24. Hell: Commentary provided by JR and Tony Shivone (not spelled correctly and dont give a shit about how its properly spelled) Lex Luger vs Billy Gunn - JR spends the first 5 minutes of the match hyping up Billy Gunn as the finest pure athlete ever to walk the planet. Shivone repeatedly states that this is the greatest and most important night in the history of the sport, and this may very well be the greatest match ever, even though neither man has done anything except stand there and flex. After approximately 3 hours of throwing right hands and flying forearms, 75% of which miss completely, Billy Gunn wins the match with the Famasser. Erik Watts vs Greg Gagne vs Randy Orton vs Jeff Jarrett (the battle of the overpushed Daddy's boys) - All 4 guys spend the first 10 minutes of the match seeing who can throw a better dropkick. All 4 agree it may be the one thing they can actually do right. Per Just John's request, David Flair runs in, and just cant pull off the dropkick, thus is forced to take the finishing move of the other 4 men. The original 4 competitors proceed to decide to be friends, and go out for beers. They then shake hands, ending the match at a draw at 11:00. Giant Gonzales vs The Giant Silva 1 hour iron man match - JR spends the entire match giving HHH a verbal blowjob for no reason, and completely ignoring the scientific exhibition unfolding before him. Shivone takes back his previous claim and states that THIS is the greatest match ever. Giant Gonzales simply stands there with his hand over the face of Silva, "choking" him for the first 55 minutes of the match before SIlva finally breaks free and slams GOnzales to the mat with a chokeslam to pick up the one nad only pinfall of this ***** classic. Lenny and Lodi vs Billy (pulling double duty) and Chuck vs The Heart Throbs - All 3 teams take turns seeing how much homosexual innuendo they can fit into the match. The one bright spot of this match is Lodi using the rolling piledrivers that he used on a Thunder in 2000. Shivone once again contradicts himself and proclaims this to be the most pivital moment in history, and a match that will change the sport forever. Billy Gunn dislocates his shoulder, and GLAAD protests, causing the match to end after a grueling 35 minutes of non stop fun times. Sid vs Kevin Nash vs 2002-2003 HHH - While making his entrance, Nash manages to tear both quads, blow out his knees, seperate his elbow, and tear his sack. We are left with what is sure to be one for the ages, Sid vs HHH. After a 45 minute punch-fest, Sid leaps from the middle rope, going for his death move, the flying big boot. He lands on his foot ackwardly, causing his leg to snap in 5 different places, and his sack to tear. While standing there ackwardly, HHH decides the match must go on, and while walking over to make the pin on Sid, manages to re-tear his quad, tear his other quad, pinch his sciatic nerve, and yes, tear his sack. Shivone has a heart attack proclaiming this to be the most important night in wrestling history, and quite possibly, the finest technical bout ever witnessed by human eyes. MAIN EVENT: Jeff Jarrett (2003 TNA Dragon Slayer Gimmick) vs 2004 HHH (magically back from the quad injuries, pinched nerve, and torn sack, because hes passionate for the business like that) - The match is spent with each competitor seeing who can no-sell for the other for the longest. Jarrett takes approximately 157 Pedigrees, 1 of which was through 3 flaming, tack-covered tables, 10 Ric Flair ballshots, and 15 chair shots. However, Jarrett easily kicks out at 1, and plants HHH with a single Stroke for the pinfall. Shivone, revived by an oxygen tank and nearly catatonic, finds it in himself to proclaim this the greatest match of the most important night in wrestling history.
