So I've got an investment that's going to pay off in the sum of around $4000 give or take around the end of August. I'm probably going to put a grand or so towards school but the rest is all mine to blow on whatever I feel like. Travelling has come up as I know some people who are going to Cuba in the fall so that's an option.

 

Suggest stuff for me to blow my money on.

I am not sure about Cuba. Costa Rica might be cheaper and has just as much, if not more to see from what I've heard.

 

Other than that, yeah, weed and the "gentlemen's club" is the way to go.

Cuba's not such a great idea unless you have family there or something. Also consider that hurricanes are in season, and Cuba gets the shaft as far as that goes, and trust me when I tell you the LAST place you want to be stuck in if there's flight problems is there. I know from various experiences. Any other time, it'd be great-- personally, I'm not going there again until communism falls, which I know will be a long time, but still.

 

Don't waste it on travel, either, unless there's some place you're just dying to go to. Not sure where your hobbies lay, but if I had 4 grand, I'd spend it upgrading my electronics and/or my car, if I didn't have any other obligations to worry about like paying off my debts or insurance.

Go on a trip down the east coast of the US, climaxing with a landfalling hurricane experience in Florida. That'd be pretty boss.

I'd try to complete the list of DVDs and CDs on my wishlist. That, and either do the north east US road trip or the overseas trip to the Caribbean or Europe. I'll be doing one of those at the end of August, sans the 4 grand and with an impending tuition debt :/

Kotz- It's less in American then it would be Canadian so the odds of me making a trip South are unlikely. Only place I'd consider going back to is Frisco and I'd have to find somebody to come with me.
