Ultimate Warrior speaks out about his upcoming DVD

Basically, the whole thing is made to have the message

that Warrior was intense and powerful, but also a bit

of an idiot.

 

If that's true, than this may be the most accurate DVD they've ever produced.

 

I like how he writes about 40 pages essentially saying how much he's moved on and doesn't care.

 

If you write 40 pages, you care. A lot.

That statement pretty much sums it all up. He obviously greatly cares about how this portrays him, or he wouldn't write a damned college-thesis on how he basically could care less. Ya know, I'd think a whole lot more of the guy if he would just come out and say "this pisses me off, and I'm hurt that WWE would do this to me" He's lucky Vince let him back in WWE after he left. Twice. Vince was apparently a mark for the character above and beyond the crap that Warrior pulled, or he wouldn't have gotten THREE chances in the company. He apparently thinks he could just come and go as he pleases with virtually no consequences. Well, Warrior, here's your consequence, you're about to get a DVD set ripping you a new asshole, it sounds like.

 

To those that would rather see his "good" than his "bad", I completely see where you're coming from. Here's hoping that at least a small section of the DVD, or part of the commentary, does focus on his achievements and matches that made his career. I'd love to hear Vince tell us all why pushing Warrior was something he believed in. But considering that there's literally only three or four Warrior matches worth half a crap, it won't have to be a very long section. The bulk of the set will probably make the viewer piss him/herself with uncontrollable laughter, from the sound of it.

 

Is there any chance that Warrior could sue WWE to stop the DVD from even being distributed, feeling that it will be slanderous and/or detrimental to what little bit of a "career" that the Warrior has left? He'd have to see it first, I guess, so I wonder if Vince sends a copy to the individual featured before he releases it, or if he just says "screw it, if they don't like it, they can kiss off". It should be interesting, for sure.

 

And - I hope to hell his WCW crap is on there, that should be comic gold in and of itself.

The next night, Warrior does his usual thing, and when Bobby Heenan, who was managing Andre, asks him why he didn't listen, Warrior said something like, "I never know where I'm going to be". So, the following night, Warrior does his usual thing at high speed, but this time, when he goes for the clothesline, Andre just holds his fist out, and Warrior smacks it head first, and staggers around all shaken up. The night after that, Warrior hits the ring hard but this time he does a nice and easy clothesline and Andre takes his bump into the ropes. Andre then turns to Heenan and says, "He's learning".

Every story I read about Andre has me loving the dude more and more. Only Andre and Rick Rude (to an extent) could bring Jimmy back to reality.

I thought the story was that when Warrior tried to do it again, Andre "rose up", held out his hand and yelled "Stop!" and Warrior was so afraid by that, that he didn't dare to hit him so hard again.

If you want proof of Warrior being a nutjob, track down his comic book. Any issue will do, but the X-mas one with Santa in bondage takes the cake. Warrior is a loon. Bottom line. And this DVD will be one of the best ones made by the WWE.

I remember watching RAW and they were hyping that comic, saying it sold something like 800,000 copies, and then checking Wizard magazine for a few months and it was nowhere on the best selling charts.

The pricing also suggests a single-disc release. Good choices on the matches, really there wasn't much you could include quality-wise, except maybe for the Warrior/Rude IC Title match from SSlam, or that Champion vs Champion match vs Savage at MSG (Wrestling Superheroes.) I'm still on the fence, I guess I'll wait to get in used or bargain-priced.

even if warrior was a bit of a nutjob, is that the understatement of the year there. anyways surely they shouldn't mess about with a legend even if he had a few issues. to insult the guys legacy is like insulting a big part of wwe history. I always grew up on the theory that if you can't say something nice about someone don't say anything, the wwe is just being cheap if it includes all the dvd insults of the warrior ,after all he's just an old hamless nutter these days.

I recently saw his shoot interview and what a turdburglar this guy is. He was getting pissed off at the interviewer for asking questions about memories of certain famous matches. Dumbass, what did you think the interview would cover??? He's definitely still very bitter at Vince even though he doesn't admit it.

Warrior didn't drop the belt to Mr. Perfect. Perfect via a tournment when he best Tito Santana in the final. This was because the title was made vacant after Warrior won the WWF Championship.

 

That's not to say they didn't have a match for the title however.
