What's happening this week?

All I know is the new GM is debuting this week. What else? Reading the ME of LTP, which was excellent, BTW, it suggests I should do something with CWM but I'm not sure where to go. I'm thinking backstage segment "recorded after LTP" with them getting into it again, maybe with punches thrown.

 

Zack, NYU -- you guys are the key players with the Upstarts/Originals feud, so if either of you guys could fill me in on what's going down this week, please do.

Yeah, I could use a clue too. I guess Dan should cut a promo on Drek and the GPX. Maybe Black vs one of GPX, if that could advance the storylines somehow.

 

And hows the next PPV shaping up, any ideas?

I'm going to take on Drek at Angleslam. Maybe during your promo, Eski, the three of them come out, and I come out to help out, but Drek bails out and leaves us against the GPX. Then Cal can make that a match (me/you vs. GPX) for either this or next week, depending on how much time you and I would have to write.

I wrote a promo, re-read it and realised I started shooting on people (ie Hoff) and had to re-write it, because it didn't fit right.

 

For some reason. it feels like the Rodez/Wright feud is dragging and I've pretty much lost any sort of ex-pornstar vibe with Rodez all of a sudden. Any ideas to help are appreciated...

Actually, I do have something of note. If it's okay with those involved, I want to have Wright/Bohemoth and Rodez join up on the respective sides of the Upstarts/Originals angle after Angleslam somehow. Between now and them joining, I'll need Wright and Bo each to have at least one 'big' match with a top line character. Then, I can start the 'Rodez The Original Trainee' angle up and re-tool the gimmick to suit slightly.

Have Wright/Bo jump me and Dan Black next week, making it a five on one beatdown. I'm OK with that if Eski wants to go that route.

Since you've already chosen sides, PK and another Original can take on the GPX if you'd like, unless Tony and Eski want to do some type of Black T vs. GPX match at Angleslam.

I don't know. CWM vs. Tony Brannigan? That would mean the demise of T.O.E., although the group is pretty much done with anyway. To setup the match I'd do a World Tag Team Title match on the August 18th edition of HD with CWM/Tony trying to settle their differences by bringing home the tag titles and have CWM Pollycutter me, costing us the match. If Zack is still going forward with the idea he told me about a couple months back, I guess it could work.

 

BTW, Eski, what did you think of the idea I sent you?

 

And Zack -- When are we doing the tag title switch?

Good question on the tag thing. I'd still love to do the match on a week where a lot of us can write and make it epic, but now with Some Guy kinda doing his own thing (in storyline) and working a lot (in reality), throwing Zack/SG in there would seem sort of random. We COULD do Boiz vs. GPX vs. Crystal/Gunner vs. Black T or Black/CWM vs. Zack/Rodez or something like that. Actually, if we did that, it would help KC's quest to make Rodez "legit" to the Originals, and would anger the Upstarts that he holds a belt with their arch-enemy.

Well, Crystal hasn't been in the shows for a month, so she probably shouldn't be used with some big epic thing. But I wouldn't mind doing a match with PK and doing a segment earlier with GPX or whoever to semi-explain Crystal's absense.

That'd actually be a sensible way to do it, seeing as it's Zack's approval that Rodez would be seeking more than anyone else's. Plus, me and Zack make a pretty good tag team *cough*formerSWFTagTeamChampions*cough*. And after AS, I'm not booked up for anything so it would be more than just a side issue or a mini feud.

 

Me and Zack could come out to "Beverley Hills" by Weezer. That's money.

Why not do a deal where the Upstarts target you since you're "weak" (re: you tried to trust them and they turned on you, now your partners are at each others throats) and in typical Dan Black brashness, you challenge the GPX to a handicap match at Angleslam. Then just before AngleSlam, Popick can side up with you (the two hated "power players" in OAOAST history vs. the GPX) and Popick can turn on you then and cut his promo on how the money is in the Upstarts, not the Originals, etc.?

 

So SJ/Black vs. GPX for Angleslam.

The tag division will be getting beefed up over the next few months. One team will be returning, maybe 3 debuting, so it depends on what you have in mind and what Zack & KC have planned for the tag titles. Zack/Rodez is a pretty good combo.

 

Black/SJ vs. GPX is a good idea. The beating would bring Black T together again.

Yeah, NRG and Los Diablos Del Fuego can be used whenever, really. I know Tony had an idea on called up LDDF from OAOVW, and NRG's just kinda bopping around until they get plugged in with the Love Doctors (I think that was Eski's plan).

 

Is Cal writing his GMship promo, or is someone else, or what? I haven't seen him online in a few days.
