Vyce Posted August 7, 2005 Report Posted August 7, 2005 Good for the Penguins, they moved up four spots.
bob_barron Posted August 7, 2005 Author Report Posted August 7, 2005 March of the Penguins was a nice movie, I just thought it was pretty boring at times. Aristocrats had a $28,000 PSA which is good. I've seen the movie twice now and it's hilarious
Vampiro69 Posted August 7, 2005 Report Posted August 7, 2005 Sad day in America when Dukes of Hazzard is number one. I predict that it falls huge next week.
SuperJerk Posted August 7, 2005 Report Posted August 7, 2005 Good for the Penguins, they moved up four spots. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You could even say they marched up four spots. Whew.
Gary Floyd Posted August 7, 2005 Report Posted August 7, 2005 Good for the Penguins, they moved up four spots. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> More like waddled up four spots
Lord of The Curry Posted August 7, 2005 Report Posted August 7, 2005 Go Wedding Crashers. "Proper Hat-Girl just eye fucked the shit out of me".
Youth N Asia Posted August 7, 2005 Report Posted August 7, 2005 Go Wedding Crashers. "Proper Hat-Girl just eye fucked the shit out of me". <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'll second "Go Wedding Crashers" with two of my own: Jeremy: "This girl's fit for a straight-jacket. I mean she's three ways fucked to the weekend. But you know what, Father? I dig it!" Chaz: "Mom! The meat loaf! Fuck"
Guest El Satanico Posted August 7, 2005 Report Posted August 7, 2005 I'm glad the Dukes are number one, just because I know it's pissing off Cooter...sorry I mean Senator Cooter. I'm also happy for Burt, Willie, SWS, Knoxville and the General Lee, but that Simpson girl can piss the fuck off.
Guest JMA Posted August 8, 2005 Report Posted August 8, 2005 I'm really glad that I went to see Wedding Crashers. It's one of the best buddy movies that I've seen in quite a while.
Mole Posted August 8, 2005 Report Posted August 8, 2005 I'm really glad that I went to see Wedding Crashers. It's one of the best buddy movies that I've seen in quite a while. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's a Romantic Comedy.

Just another reason why it's making so much money.

Just another reason why it's making so much money. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think it's making so much money because Wilson and Vaughn have such great chemistry. Still, the romantic comedy aspect does bring in all the couples. Almost everyone in the theatre who saw the movie had their significant other with them. The movie could easily appeal to both men and women, too.
Youth N Asia Posted August 8, 2005 Report Posted August 8, 2005 And you don't see that many R rated romantic comedies
Red Baron Posted August 8, 2005 Report Posted August 8, 2005 C'mon everyone knows that Christopher Walken=Gold.

ant_7000 Posted August 8, 2005 Report Posted August 8, 2005 I kinda disappointed that "Hustle & Flow" didn't crack the top 10, I know its shown on lesser screens but still.
Placebo Effect Posted August 8, 2005 Report Posted August 8, 2005 Aristocrats had a $28,000 PSA which is good. I've seen the movie twice now and it's hilarious <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wish it was playing in Philly.

Maybe, but Wilson and Vaughn will be the reason people keep coming back for more. They're really that good together.
Guest Frank_Nabbit Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 So what's coming out in the next few months that has some hype? The Great Riad Red Eye (Flight Plan?) What's the big fall movies prior to the XMAS family junk?
Hank Kingsley Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 I'm looking forward to The 40-Year-Old Virgin.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 Vince Vaughn has gotta be one of the best comeddic actors in the past serval years at least. His ability to keep firing off one liners practically nonstop with very little setup and not make it seem forced is amazing. "I'm going to go upstairs and spit blood and ice my balls, how's THAT for being a team player huh?" "She's not answering your calls, not replying to your letters. God only knows what happened to the kitten you got for her. 'Cause you know she's not raising it and I know you're not raising the goddamn thing." So many good quotes. I'm going to go back and watch it again on my days off just so I can catch all the lines I missed the first time from laughing. Edited for some bad spelling.

I doubt many people noticed that, though. It was VERY subtle.
Youth N Asia Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 I'll looking forward to Serenity. Otherwise not much else appeals to me.
Insane Bump Machine Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 The next couple of weeks I'm interested in The Brothers Grimm, but that's about it.
CBright7831 Posted August 10, 2005 Report Posted August 10, 2005 The next couple of weeks I'm interested in The Brothers Grimm, but that's about it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, me too. I want to see The Brothers Grimm and The Corpse Bride. Four more films, and then I'm probably done for the year. The Brother Grimm The Corpse Bride V for Vendetta King Kong
