Gary Floyd 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2005 Pop Will Eat Itself. Granted, they mixed various forms of music with rock, but rap was one of them. And they did a great job with it.
PLAGIARISM! 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2005 I detest pretty much every band mentioned except Rage, and they did so much for this as a genre so I can't really go with anyone else. Slipknot shouldn't be on the list but are probably my least hated band from the other optons. I hate sublime so fucking much.
PLAGIARISM! 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2005 Actually, I think I'll go with the Bloodhound Gang. Honestly.
Annabelle 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2005 since when is subline rap rock? since when is sublime worse than the fucking bloodhound gang? i resent both of thsoe comments.

Hank Kingsley 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2005 I sincerely want to fuck the taste out of your mouth. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Definitely one of my favorite lines in a Prince song.

I used to really like Snot a great deal. Of the options, Rage Against The Machine's self-titled is the only thing I can still listen to.
Guest J0bber Report post Posted August 17, 2005 It's great that no one has voted for Bizkit yet. That band was like "THE THING" in the late 90's/early 00's and now their popularity has dwindled to almost nothing.
Carnival 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2005 I voted for Rage. Korn and Slipknot shouldn't be on the list. They are metal or nu metal. Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit barely. They mostly sing, with occasional rapping. ICP is strictly rap. They might have some rock-ish songs, but like someone already said, they aren't a band. Incidentally, 'All Your Friends Are Make-Believe' owns them.

mw679 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2005 For some real good rap/rock check out Bionic Jive. Their album "Armageddon through your Speakers" is some good stuff. Oh, I voted for RATM.

PLAGIARISM! 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2005 I'll say this for Biohazard, I couldn't even listen to their albums through when I was 12, but they were about 10 years ahead of most as far as the genre goes.
Toshiaki Koala 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2005 I've only heard one Rage song and it was pretty decent. The others suck shit through a tube, and hard.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted August 18, 2005 There has to be some lesser known groups, that are a better representation of this "genre". The Roots are better than all of these, other than Rage.
