Annabelle 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2005 I'm 21, bitches. This isn't a teenage engagement... although, it's sorta close. I've been dating her for almost four years, though, so piss off And pics will be forthcoming. I just got back to school, so I've got to connect my scanner. We're going to do it in April of '07, because I want to give her like, a year and a half to plan. I don't really think teenage engagements are entirely useless... if you're mature enough that you really know what you're getting into. I think I'm pretty solid in that department, but then again, maybe not. Either way, her dad is loaded and it's gonna be a fun party. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> did you buy her a ring? geniusMoment 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2005 Her dad being loaded changes everything. If he is very loaded marry her immediatly, no need to waste, and try to get the money.
Sass 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2005 Congrats Tyler. Are you two living together currently?
Dr. Tyler; Captain America 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 A month later, I got my scanner working. Bad scan job, bad job of removing red-eye, and I look like I'm sunburnt. Oh well, whatever. And yes, she has braces Sass: No, our families are both religious so they wouldn't be contributing quite as much (read: anything) to the wedding if we'd been living together. Also, this was taken pre-engagement, but on that night; she doesn't have the ring on, obviously. The ring is here:
BruiserKC 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2005 I remember when my wife and I got engaged we decided to move in together a year before the wedding. Our fathers...didn't care. Our mothers...CARED! To this day I still hear it every once in a while from my mom..."I hope your children wait to get married before living with their significant others!" Congrats, Tyler...marriage may not always be the hell the spurned say it is...or the paradise the fairy-talers think it is...it's somewhere in the middle. Annabelle 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2005 some people are just not suited to share their picture on the internet. it does a total disservice to the appearence you have given these people in your own mind.

To this day I still hear it every once in a while from my mom..."I hope your children wait to get married before living with their significant others!" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I never understood what the big deal was about living together before marriage. I think it should be a damn near necessity, just to see how you cope with each other in everyday life. It's one thing when you can get all fixed up and out with each other all the time, and another thing when you have to deal with your wife/girlfriend's compulsive internet problem (as I discovered with an ex of mine who stayed with me for days at a time towards the end of our relationship). Also, oddly enough, Tyler looks exactly like how I always pictured MikeSC to look.
kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2005 Her dad is loaded... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So her father is a drunk? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If that was my future son-in-law I'd be hitting the sauce. She has braces? The better half had a "permanent" retainer for about 9 months when I met her; guess it wasn't that permanent...
Dr. Tyler; Captain America 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2005 She just got them like, five months ago because she fucked up in not getting her wisdom teeth taken out until then, and they started turning a tooth on the side of her mouth. Looked painful.
kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2005 How long is she going to be stuck with them?...
Dr. Tyler; Captain America 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2005 They'll be gone before the wedding. Apparently, they're only going to be on until May.
kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2005 Oh hell, that's not bad. Of course she may just have them in in hopes of not having to give you blowjobs. I never understood what the big deal was about living together before marriage. I think it should be a damn near necessity, just to see how you cope with each other in everyday life. Ditto. There's enough problems in a relationship -- it's best to iron out the "living together" situations that arise before two people get hitched, imo...
Dr. Tom 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2005 Belated congrats on the engagement, Tyler. Since her dad is loaded, you should invite as many of the old CE regulars as you can. I can just see it now... ::kkk, Marney, MikeSC, and Dr. Tom all walk into the reception:: Girl's Dad: Who are those people? Tyler: Oh, I used to argue with them about politics on an internet wrestling messageboard. Being called a commie every other day was so much fun! Girl's Dad: This reception is OVER! Thank you. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> no offense pegasus, but i don't think your brain has evolved past the stage of 13. how do i kiss a girl? CMON man.
Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted October 19, 2005 First post in a little while. Ah 13, the good old days when you had all those wrestling magazines with the black bars and pornographic ads. I remember my Mom made me get rid of them. I cried. It wasn't until 6 years later or so that I'd set eyes on my first Playboy magazine. That reminds me -- My first kiss ever was to a woman in the forbidden section of the Sears catalogue. I don't think that counts though. But enough reminising. In defence of myslef (and I take no offence to your words at all) everybody has questions that they are afraid to ask in life because they think they are so simple to everyone. However the problem is if you never ask you'll never know for sure and when that time comes for you to do something with your limited knowledge you're only going to be guessing and with that comes possible emberassment among your peers. Other bad things can happen as well. The truly smart person knows when to ask a question no matter how simple it may seem. That is the advantage of being past 25 years old as you have a more mature brain and you realise this kind of stuff. I've been working on getting my first kiss but have not succeeded yet. I have an AMAZING story to write that I know everyone will enjoy but the thing is the story is still ongoing and I want to analyse it further before writing it down. I also want to see where it goes. The other problem is that there are almost more little nuances to this story than the show LOST so it would take an awful long to write. It is something I want to share though I'm not sure how much I want to share.
