Guest JMA Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 I'm glad Toonami is going with the two episode format.
ChrisMWaters Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 From what I've heard, tonight is also the debut of Blue Top Supergirl. All I can say is... FINALLY!
Ced Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 From what I've heard, tonight is also the debut of Blue Top Supergirl. All I can say is... FINALLY! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Recognize.

SuperJerk Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 It really doesn't make sense to me that they'd go with a 2 episode format since it just means they'll run through them twice as fast.
Mecha Mummy Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 So, Killer Frost was seven flavors of awesome tonight. The episodes were just great in general, with awesome showings from Stargirl and S.T.R.I.P.E.(S.?), and Mr. Terrific got a line! I wonder if he's going to be taking over the monitor duty position since J'Onn is gone.
AndrewTS Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 Dino Riders-esque fantasy story in 1st ep The Kirby-esque artwork in Grodd's story WW actually getting a decent appearance in Some funny innuendo in both.
ChrisMWaters Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 Great to see Metallo...and Stargirl getting a line...and Supergirl in the blue outfit. Oh, and of course my favorite villainess, Giganta.
AndrewTS Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 Great endings, too. Although, I thought in DCAU continuity Metallo could still move around without Green K, just would be weak?
SuperJerk Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 Dino Riders-esque fantasy story in 1st ep The Kirby-esque artwork in Grodd's story <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That wasn't Kirby's artwork style...it was Joe Kubert's.
Ced Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 Who else marked for the Wonder Woman TV show nod?
AndrewTS Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 Who else marked for the Wonder Woman TV show nod? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The transformation--hellayeah. That wasn't Kirby's artwork style...it was Joe Kubert's. Was trying to pin down something similar, but oh well. And what can really be said about them fighting a Bowser-dooed Gamera clone?
EdwardKnoxII Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 My VCR messed up and I missed the first ep. Can anyone tell when they are going to replay last night's eps?
Vampiro69 Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 Don't look for any replays of these episodes for a couple of weeks or months. All I have to say is that the episode with the Flash Museum looks awesome. Villians that appears to be in it include Mirror Master, Captain Boomerang, and CAPTAIN COLD!
Guest JMA Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 Who else marked for the Wonder Woman TV show nod? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know I did. Great stuff. Also, wasn't the League supposed to have decommissioned the Watchtower after the Cadmus arc? Don't they have a new HQ now?
Kurt Angle Mark Posted September 25, 2005 Author Report Posted September 25, 2005 Don't look for any replays of these episodes for a couple of weeks or months. All I have to say is that the episode with the Flash Museum looks awesome. Villians that appears to be in it include Mirror Master, Captain Boomerang, and CAPTAIN COLD! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Plus the Trickster, who will be voiced by Mark Hamill But the best thing about the clips is that Linda Park!! is going to appear
SuperJerk Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 Can anyone give me background info on Agent Farraday? What comics has he appeared in?
Guest JMA Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 Can anyone give me background info on Agent Farraday? What comics has he appeared in? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> King Faraday
Boner Kawanger Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 I missed out last night. What happened to J'onn?
SuperJerk Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 He decided he was going to quit isolating himself from the human race after some coaxing from Wonder Woman.
Guest JMA Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 He decided he was going to quit isolating himself from the human race after some coaxing from Wonder Woman. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm guessing he'll become "John Jones, Private Detective" in his human identity.
Guest Desperate Housewife Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 Episode #34 - The Great Brain Robbery Original Airdate - A mystical accident leads to Lex Luthor and the Flash’s minds being swapped into each other’s bodies. Is this a riff on Micheal Rosenbaum doing the voice of Flash and being Luthor in Smallville?
Vampiro69 Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 I was glad to see Mr. Terrfic get a line on the show.
JMFabiano524 Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 Nothing yet about the Black Manta/Devil Ray (I must resist from misnaming him "Devil Fish," thus inspiring thoughts of the MSTed movie) controversy??? Wow... Anyway as I understand it, for some reason Aquaman and his supporting cast are now not allowed either, ala the Bat-Embargo caused by The Crapm...I mean, The Batman. Hence Manta's name change. If anyone knows why there's an Aqua-Embargo too, I'd love to know. (Comic people? The fact that Arthur's gonna be portrayed on Smallville?) Come to think of it, does a comprehensive list of who is and isn't allowed on JLU, and why/why not, available anywhere? Second, if all they have to do is change the name of a character, what's to stop them from, say, bringing the Joker back...only making sure no one calls him "Joker" somehow? (It would be harder since we all know who he is, but they could just use nicknames and such when they address him)
EdwardKnoxII Posted October 1, 2005 Report Posted October 1, 2005 Just a reminder JLU doesn't come on tonight.
SuperJerk Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 I was worried I'd forgotten about this, since I was at the movies last night.
dubq Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 What episode are we up to on this? I've downloaded 1 to 4 so far..
SuperJerk Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 That's all they've aired, the fuckers.
AndrewTS Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 No JLU tonight either. CN.com's schedule is a bitch to try to navigate for showings. Best I can tell is that Bobobobobo will be showing eps until the end of this month, but I can't tell when the next JLU will air. Between then and now we'll be getting 1,000,000,000 Teen Titans reruns.
MrRant Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 *shakes fist* I've been checking my Tivo and nothing for the next two weeks.
