You guys are forgetting some:

- High Voltage

- Well Dunn

- Techno Team 2000

- The Oddities

- The Bushwhackers

- The New Breed

- DOA

- The Colossal Kongs

- The American Males

No tournament can be complete with those teams.

This isn't a completist tournament. I don't think any of those could ever be considered the one of the best tag teams ever.

Also, he forgot the Ding Dongs.

Those eight teams pretty much have to be there.  The only one you can fudge a bit is Demolition, but the other seven are far and away the best seven tag teams ever.

Far and away, really? I'd bet that HDA and MVC had more great matches than that whole list combined. Of course, ignoring any hyperbole, HDA and MVC likely had a larger quantity of high quality matches than any individual team on that list. And comparing best vs. best is no contest. Granted, you might prefer those other teams, but calling them "far and away the best" is different than "far and away my favourites".

And the Dynamic Dudes. That's unforgivable.

Ok, got things sorted out.

23 teams received multiple votes, so there'll be eight three way dances, sorted randomly. The 24th team, because they receieved one vote and I mark for them, are the Quebecers.

The winning teams will be arranged at random in a single elimination tourney.

Matchup for September 8, due at midnite pacific.

Please post your winner, who lost first, and who lost second.

3 points for a win, 2 for a run up, 1 for a first elimination. Most points win.

Demolition vs Edge/Christian vs The Rockers

Demolition Smash pins Marty Jannety. He then gets dropkicked out of the ring and Edge and Christian do a conchairto on Axe for the 1, 2, 3.

Thanks.

The Rockers and E&C work together to eliminate Demolition. After the fall, E&C try to get the jump on The Rockers, but end up knocking into each other. Double superkicks, and double top-rope splashes later, The Rockers come out on top.

The Rockers go to double crescent kick (GORILLA!) Ax, but Ax is all "Fuck that, I no-sell bitch" and double clotheslines them into a spinning oblivion. Marty gets the Decpatator, and the Rockers are eliminated.

E & C go for the conchairto, but Smash ducks it and shoulder blocks Christian as Ax lifts up Edge. Decapitation for Edge, but Christian sneaks in as Ax celebrates and rolls up Smash for the 3 count.

E & C WIN!

Demolition and E&C gang up on the Rockers. Marty Jannetty gets pinned after a Demolition Decapitation after Shawn Michaels decides he's lost his smile and leaves for the locker room. Edge and Christian dominate Smash and Ax for a while before Edge misses a spear into the cornerpost. This allows Christian to be pinned following a piledriver from Ax. Demolition wins.

Double Cresent Kick is aimed for Edge, but Edge ducks and it nails Ax. He is out cold. Smash Blind Chages and is backdropped over teh top rop by Chrsitian. All 4 men gang up and pin Ax.

Marty Janetty gets pinned by Christian, who pulls his tights for the win.

Brett Hart eliminates Michael Hayes by making Hayes tap out to the Sharpshooter. Hart stands up and is clotheslined over the top rope by IRS sending them both over the top rope. Terry Gordy, furious over being eliminated, decks Neidhart with a boot to the face which leaves Neidhart open for the Million Dollar Dream, to which Neidhart succumbs to. Winners : Money Inc.

Hayes gets hit with a Hart Attack 22 seconds in and is pinned.

Money Inc uses the Breifcase to get the pin, but the decision is reversed by a second ref. Bret then rolls up IRS and gets the win by pulling the tights.

I think many people give Harlem Heat shit because of how lazy and lethargic Stevie Ray got towards 98-00.

Dudes, Stevie and Booker were THE team in WCW for many years. Stevie was nailing picture-perfect superkicks, and the team was running and keeping up with smaller, quicker teams and looking like they belonged (and many times, going OVER) against mai-event level teams like Sting & Luger, Steiners, etc.

I find the Bulldogs vastly overrated and Heat underrated. Don't hate on THEIR ability just because of the useless SLUG teams they were forced to constantly work in The Nasty Boys, Texas Rednecks, American Males, Public Enemy, Faces of Fear, Slater & Bunkhouse Buck, First Family, etc.

Anyways, my vote:

- Booker T pins Robert Gibson after Stevie superkicks Morton over the top rope and Heat deliver a double-team "Big Apple".

- Bulldogs defeat Heat when Smith catches Booker off the top rope with a powerslam and Dynamite lands a headbutt from the opposite corner.

Bulldogs over Heat over R n R
