alfdogg 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2006 Damn. Missed the championship bracket by one game. Good thing is, though, that I get the week off now. I'm sending PM's out now to those of you who haven't given your status for next season.
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2006 Boo, missed the important playoffs by 1.5 games. I guess that'll teach me for ignoring my team for half the year.

Krankor 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2006 God Damn it I think I lost in the first round of the playoffs because of a fucking yahoo techincality. I thought I beat White Tigers because the logical thought would be to think the team with the higher season winning percentage would win the tie breaker because thats what all the work during the regular season is for. Nope. I looked up the tie breakers and here they are in order Most team points scored. Most team rebounds. Highest team field goal percentage. Highest team free throw percentage. Fewest team turnovers. Most team 3-point shots made. Most team assists. Most team steals. Most team blocked shots. Random "coin flip." So I take the typical Minnesota first round exit from the playoffs. White Tigers clearly does have a better team then me because I've been ravaged by injuries the past week with Ford, Brezec, Randolph, and Rashard Lewis all missing time. Fucking Tie. I'm still mildly drunk from wrestlemania so i'm going to stop raving now. Good Luck to White Tigers in the next round.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2006 I've still heard nothing from Agent_Bond34. If I don't hear from him by the end of the week, I'm going to free up his spot. That would leave us 16 teams, an amount I'm content with if no outsiders come around. EDIT: And I still need a second keeper for Precious Roy, if he's keeping another one. alfdogg 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2006 Next year's draft order (based on regular season record): 1. Cartman 2. Dangerous A 3. Deep Thought 4. bravesfan 5. MarvinisaLunatic 6. nogoodnick 7. bob barron 8. Cena's Writer 9. Cuban Linx 10. Alfdogg 11. razazteca 12. Will Scarlet 13. Krankor 14. TheOriginalOrangeGoblin 15. Kingofthe909 16. Precious Roy When we start next season, I'll give you guys another chance to decide on your keepers, since some good players have become available with the teams that have dropped out. I'm wavering on this myself. EDIT: Keep in mind also that if we end up doing another madness round, it will be drawn at random rather than based on records. Krankor 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2006 Sounds good alf. I'm considering entering the madness round too. I haven't decided yet. The championship game for this league has been a battle. It looks like Kings of Crunk is going to pull out the win.
Guest Report post Posted April 20, 2006 Hopefully. Also, LeBron didn't play tonight, likely handing me the matchup.

I didn't think the championship game in the Pit League would have ended that lopsided. That week and a half was the best week and a half my team put together all season. Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2006 Belated congratulations, Kingofthe909! The missed games by West, LeBron and Camby really killed me at the end, but I'm still happy to have the regular season title. This was my first keeper league, in retrospect I should have dropped West and probably shuffled my regular lineup more during the season. There was no reason to keep Sebastian Telfair all season, that was personal bias. My keepers are LeBron and Billups. -- I hate giving up Camby, Okur and even Odom and West, but that's the way it goes. I might declare a third keeper before the next draft. Guest Report post Posted April 30, 2006 All I did was have a whole bunch of G/F on my team, since apparently it works well. Thanks for the congratulations.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2006 The reason I went with just two keepers is because of how long it took to get through the madness rounds last time. This time, though, it doesn't look like we're going to have any newcomers. If you guys want three keepers, go ahead.
