Cuban Linx Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 A 7-1 crushing victory, that's more like it. Only Andrei Kirilenko blocking everything in sight keeps me from the perfect 8-0.
alfdogg Posted November 15, 2005 Author Report Posted November 15, 2005 Sandman, your team's not living up to its name very well.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 16, 2005 Report Posted November 16, 2005 Well..the good news is sporks is going to allow me to get back to .500.. the bad news is next week I'll be back to sub .500 cause my team just sucks.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 I've managed to improve my team slightly, picking up Harpring and Harris. But it looks like this will be the 3rd straight week I'll be going 4-4, with my record stuck at 24-24. Im interested in some trades maybe..
Guest Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 I'm shopping Donyell Marshall and Steve Francis, need a quality center.
razazteca Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 Looking to trade Tinsley and Bobby Jackson for Power Forward/Center
Brett Favre Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 Looking to trade Mike Bibby for a PF.
Precious Roy Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 Los Guerreros gets a freebie this week, I left LeBron, Camby, Battier and Billups on the bench from Friday to today, including THIS .655 .900 5 52 7 7 2 0 from LeBron
Guest Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 I got the real freebie with that 8-0 spot.
razazteca Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 Los Guerreros gets a freebie this week, I left LeBron, Camby, Battier and Billups on the bench from Friday to today, including THIS .655 .900 5 52 7 7 2 0 from LeBron Didn't LeBron make 100 points while sitting on the bench this week? Thanks for the freebie. I'll take any advantage that I can get.
Cuban Linx Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 My team is looking to be in good shape so far, 3rd place (though that will probably fall this week) and Grant Hill about to come back. Now if i can just remember to update my lineup everyday everything should be smooth sailing, even with Darius Miles and Josh Howard out for a while.
nogoodnick Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 I left a few key players on the bench a few days as well. Had they played I probably would've won 7-1 instead of losing 2-5.
Guest Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 Still looking to trade Steve Francis. Anyone wants Smush Parker or Donyell Marshall, I'll deal them too.
Precious Roy Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 Camby's injury is going to kill me
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 A real big THANKS to whoever dropped Jameer Nelson..I gave up on him way too soon and should never have dropped him in the first place although he did struggle out of the gate. But he's having a monster 2006 so far, and with Francis suspended indefinitely, it only gives him more opertunities.
Guest Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 Big thanks to you for letting me drop Etan Thomas.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Big thanks to you for letting me drop Etan Thomas. DroppingTyson Chandler for Bonzi Wells was a no brainer. And Wells should be back soon. Chandler was giving me fits as of late anyway. Good luck with him.
Guest Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Yeah, it was. I just needed a big guy to get rebounds, hopefully Tyson can do that.
razazteca Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 I dumped Tinsley for Stackhouse.....I am on a quest to get a team full of point forwards. I now need a FC to make the team complete.
alfdogg Posted January 23, 2006 Author Report Posted January 23, 2006 Of course, mere days after dropping Stackhouse he goes for 29 on 11-18 shooting.
razazteca Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 The good news is that Stackhouse had a good game the bad news is that Gerald Wallace is out for a month. I guess I will never have a healthy team this season. It looks like my rotation will consist of 5 point forwards and 2 centers that do nothing but block shots.
Guest Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 I'm loving Kobe on this team. If Boozer ever comes back, I'm going to be in even better position.
alfdogg Posted January 23, 2006 Author Report Posted January 23, 2006 I figured with my luck, I'd have at least one league where I was matched up against someone with Kobe on their team. Fortunately, I was wrong.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 I've been able to waiver wire my team back into contention, but its going to be hard to move up into the top 6 for the playoffs unless I keep ratling of 7-1 and 6-2 weeks.
Cuban Linx Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 I'd basically forgotten all about this league, i'm not sure if my rosters have been updated for every day, yet i'm still in fourth. Not bad when you can ignore a team for half the season yet still be in good position for the playoffs, especially if Darius Miles ever returns for me.
alfdogg Posted January 23, 2006 Author Report Posted January 23, 2006 What's the latest on him, anyway? I have him on my team in the NMB league.
Cartman Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 Well at least I'll get a great draft pick next year...
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 27, 2006 Report Posted January 27, 2006 I hope Mark Blount plays as well enough for the the T-wolves as he was for the Celtics.. Plus, right now im down 6-2 and Im hoping to at least make a run at 4-4 but thats not going to help me much..
Agent_Bond34 Posted January 28, 2006 Report Posted January 28, 2006 What's the latest on him, anyway? I have him on my team in the NMB league. News and Notes Jan 25 Miles reportedly practiced with the Portland Trail Blazers Monday, Jan. 23 and is targeting a Feb. 21 return from his right knee injury. Miles had surgery on his right knee Dec. 16, initially placing his season's status in question.
