Produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television and Imagine Entertainment, the multiple award-winning "Arrested Development" ran for three years on FOX and was one of the most celebrated comedies in network history. It revolves around Michael Bluth (Jason Bateman) who is doing his best to pick up the pieces and keep his offbeat family from falling apart after his father, George Bluth (Jeffrey Tambor), is locked up for fraud.

HDNet will have exclusive HD television access to the series for three years. The leader in high definition television, HDNet will begin airing "Arrested Development" episodes in September on its network, which is available through both cable and satellite platforms. HDNet produces a slate of original series and has licensing deals with a number of entertainment providers as well.

It would make a weird movie. But hell, I'd kill for even a couple minutes of new Arrested Development.

You better damn well believe that I bought the set. I've had it since release day, and of course it's a great set.

 

 

AD remains my favorite TV show of all time, I don't see how anything can ever top it. That said, The Office is now my "new AD". I've heard a lot of other people say the same thing as well.

Same here. I'll probably be watching it at least two more times through, since various people want to see this after I introduced them to the show through glorious DVD.

 

I'm disappointed more wasn't done with the set, though. The commentaries don't do much for me, since there's too many people to make anything of substance happen. And since this is for now, the last we'll see of these people, it would've been nice for some more in-depth features.

I started watching the show on G4 last night. I've never seen it before, but I already love it.

I was didn't watch all of The Sopranos before i first saw AD, so when I finally went through all episodes of The Sopranos last year, I couldn't help but laugh when I saw Will Arnett as the FBI chick's husband.

 

AD really set certain people in stone for me as their AD characters. I doubt I'll ever be able to see Will Arnett as anyone other than Gob, David Cross as Tobias Fünke, Tony Hale as Buster, and so on. I don't think it'll hurt how I see them in future roles, but I'll always think of AD every time I ever see any of these guys in anything else.

 

The same goes for other aspects of the show - Christmas Time is Here, The Final Countdown, etc.
