Betty Houle Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 I'm watching the Dolphins-Jets game and it's mentioned that Olindo Mare is the top scorer in Dolphins history. Anyone know where I can find a list of this for all teams? Or anyone know them all off the top of their heads?
Ripper Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 I can tell you now its going to be a list of kickers.
Slayer Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 Two guys named Anders(o/e)n lead the overall list
CanadianChris Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 I think there's a good chance that Jerry Rice is the 49ers' all-time leading scorer. They've gone through quite a few kickers.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 Yes Rice's the 49ers leader. Gary Anderson and Morten Andersen are the top two scorers of all time, besides George Blanda who played to the age of 46 or 48...
Kahran Ramsus Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 Don Hutson is Green Bay's all-time leading scorer.
devo Posted September 22, 2005 Report Posted September 22, 2005 The Jets' is Pat Leahy. I can't find a site that has all the teams' respective leading scorers. Found the Jets' by entering the right combination of terms into Google.
NoCalMike Posted September 23, 2005 Report Posted September 23, 2005 I think Mark Mosley for the Skins.
KingPK Posted September 23, 2005 Report Posted September 23, 2005 I believe it is Gino Cappaletti for the Pats, but Vinatieri is poised to pass him very soon, I think.
Slayer Posted September 23, 2005 Report Posted September 23, 2005 Fred Cox leads the Vikings (kicker during the SB years)
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted September 23, 2005 Report Posted September 23, 2005 Fred Cox leads the Vikings (kicker during the SB years) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not Randy Moss? Wow.

Credit to ProFootballHOF.com, with a little copy & paste credit to me. They have all types of franchise firsts and records on each indivudal page, hence the ten extra minutes of copying everything together. The Texans didn't have a listed scorer, so I did some searching and calculated it to be Kris Brown. EDIT: They acknowledged that the lineage of the old Browns stays with the expansion Browns. Convenient, I guess. EDIT #2: This is not taking into account 2005 statistics, so it is possible that Mare passed Yepremian (nice, spelled it correctly on the first try).
Kahran Ramsus Posted September 23, 2005 Report Posted September 23, 2005 Fred Cox leads the Vikings (kicker during the SB years) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not Randy Moss? Wow. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not even close. Carter has more than him as far as WRs go.
Spaceman Spiff Posted September 23, 2005 Report Posted September 23, 2005 Miami Vikings Oh no you didn't... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Insulting to Miami Dolphins fans, I know.
Guest Vitamin X Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 Miami Vikings Oh no you didn't... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Insulting to Miami Dolphins fans, I know. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Took the words right out of my.... fingers. We don't want `em!
