I hope Nitro and Mercury get as much mic time as Melina does in the future if WWE allows them to cut more promos. So far, Melina's been the one talking for the most part, and Nitro and Mercury usually only get to speak in pointless backstage segments or when WWE has them joking about Hawk's death.

Bobby Lashley has been getting over gangbusters on OVW during his angle where he's gradually turning on Bolin Services, especially Ken Doane. See, he isn't wrestling all that much on OVW but is obviously perceived as this huge dude that's a mega threat, thus the fans all want to see him finally turn on Doane and beat the holy hell out of him.

 

Eddie was awesome tonight. The whole goofy angle played out way better than I thought it would.

 

And I have to admit: I marked for fruitbooty. How sad is it I now want them to bring back Stevie Ray and actually think of some decent stuff he could do? Given Sharmell's pushing of her husband we might as well start calling her Lady McBook.

I don't think I've ever seen a nurse wear anything but hospital scrubs in anything but old TV shows and movies. You'd have to go back at least 20 years to see the white outfit worn by many nurses.

I have to say I enjoyed Ken Kennedy, yet again. There were some counters in that match that made me go "holy shit", notably that backbreaker. Man, that looked brutal.

 

The other reason I went "holy shit" was because nearly nobody gets to counter Rey's moves...

What they should do is have his opponent attack him before he can complete his ring introductions. Kennedy wins the match, but is too injured to announce himself as the winner. Then, at WM 23, they leave him off the card, and his only appearance will be to come out between matches, announce himself as the winner of his match from the year before, and then walk right back out.

Unfortunately, Lashley has a pretty squeaky voice (think Michael Jackson). It's quite hilarious and he'd be better off being a mute.

Wow I enjoyed Lashley a lot. He's like the WWE version of Monty Brown but Brown can actually cut a promo but that doesn't matter. Give Lashley a manager or just let his actions speak louder then words. He already got a strong reaction this time so I think he can be huge if they push him like this big monster (Monty Brown).

Didn't one of the early reports of this taping say that the crowd was dead and that they were going to have to add crowd noise? I wonder if the reaction for Bobby Lashley was really as strong as it came across on TV.

A lot of the crowd noise did sound piped during his match, but the crowd popped and all stood up and cheered after he won.

Shit.. missed Smackdown last night. Sounds like Lashley may be the next guy to rise up like Kennedy. I saw a pic of him in PWI 500, and I gotta say... He looks JACKED UP. He looks like he could be a big time star if given the chance.

 

And it's kinda hard to find Kennedy a match for a PPV it seems right now. he's just going around and beating everyone in sight and not settling in on a feud. I would probably at least give him a single match and go over a pretty good name. But is there anyone left out of that card he can go over?

Since Kennedy is virtually a tweener at this point, with no set face/heel identity, they could just as easily throw one of the Mexi-Cools @ him.

Instead of Sylvain, just have Hardcore Holly start a feud with Ken Kennedy, they look the same and Kennedy is a "rookie" who needs to stop being so arrogant bla bla the same Holly shit. Just a match the people will enjoy cause Holly can put on a nice match if he wants to and the people love Holly and Kennedy beats Holly and that actually makes Kennedy look good. Have Holly beat the crap out of Sylvain on Smackdown! and then Kennedy makes a comment bout Holly backstage and from one thing comes another, simple.

He's over, he has signs of charisma and flash along with an actual company push and it's rarity that WWE pushes someone who appears to be capable in more ways then one.
