Someone has a great Michael Caine quote about Jaws: The Revenge in their signature. Something to the effect of "I haven't seen Jaws: The Revenge, but by all accounts it is horrible. I have seen the house that it bought, and it is wonderful."

That was Mike when he was here I do believe.

Yeah, that yell killed the Star Wars coolness of Darth forever.

James Earl Jones should have told Lucas to fuck off.

Cause with those lines, his voice should have been done by Gilbert Gottfried.

I've defended that "nooo" in the past, but I've been laughing for several minutes now picturing Gilbert doing that line...

Thats a list of movie that were either good (most of them) and had great Samuel Jackson performances, or bad movies with great Samuel Jackson Performances.

I was going to add him getting killed in Goodfellas, but didn't.

Sam Jackson 0wnz JOO~!

I probably would have taken off Deep Blue Sea and added True Romance and Jurrasic Park.

The man does have talent and he might as well try and get paid. Their isn't that much black A list Actors in hollywood anyway (which is a shame).

The theory is silly because Samuel Jackson is better known than Dave Chappelle. Jackson has been in several movies that have grossed over 100 million at the box office...Chappelle had a cult TV show before flaming out.

The case can be made that Chappelle did get Rick James some modern notoriety, but not Samuel.

I was talking about his performances, not the movies. All he did was say a line and die in those two movies. If I was doing it by quality of movies, Goodfellas definatley would have been in.

Successful films starring Samuel L. Jackson are rarely, if ever successful because he's in them. He's hired merely as a reassuring presence, someone everybody instantly recognises, usually in a role where he's basically playing himself. Is he very good? No, but he has a schtick that sometimes works quite well with other, more capable actors.

Don't like the title but it will be cool to see for Samuel and the animation studio Gonzo who are visually the Pixar of Japan.

Guess it's gonna be a 5 episode series made just for SpikeTV.
