CBright7831 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 Eeeeeh, I think Nas's worst album is Nastradamus. Of course, everyone's opinion differs.
Annabelle 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 it surely isn't streets disciple which was an underated release last year. everyone dismissed it as it didn't really have any singles, and really, double albums are rarely any good. plus nas got all soft on disk 2, but who cares? plenty of fresh songs, unfortunately they were stretched a too far over 100+ minutes. its not the opus he wanted but better than several releases of his. and whats with hyping the lost tapes over illmatic? nice attenpt at being different, but you are very very wrong. i'd take it was written over the lost tapes. let alone stillmatic. maybe maybe even streets disciple. Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 I agree with everything Banky said there about Nas...
Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 DMX is fine. He's got the paranoid thug persona down. Well, this is all past tense. His first three albums are fine. I can see how somebody wouldn't like him, though. DMX is like the rap version of Korn. Speaking of... Nas' worst album is I Am..., I'd say.
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 I'll take Issues over whatever that last album was, uhmmmm Look In The Mirror or something? I acutally like Life Is Peachy over "self title"....
Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 I didn't even bother listening to the last one, so it wasn't eligible. I like Life Is Peachy a lot too, but s/t gets the edge for "Faget", my favorite song of theirs.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 The self-titled album only has one, maybe two tracks that you'd skip through, while Life is Peachy has quite a few. Issues is definitely the worst I heard. I remember the hype surrounding it in 1999 and being horribly disappointed when I bought it on release day. So much if fact that I haven't even pondered buying any of their releases since.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 I love The Blueprint, but "Jigga that Nigga", "Girls Girls Girls" and "Renegade" are terrible. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My problem with Renegade is that Em's production rarely differs, so the production feels stale listening to it now. Em does put Jay to shame lyrically here, though. The production on Girls, Girls, Girls keep it from being an unlistenable track. The subject-matter gets a little tedious near the end, but it's still solid.
Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 Like Bruiser, Issues killed my interest in new Korn. I tried Untouchables, which was slightly better, but still bad enough for me to write them off. Some grunge: (The unlistenable noise of In Utero is a good thing for me)
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 finally, someone else who thinks "Dirt" is Alice In Chains best album...to me, it was the epitome of what they had to offer..."Jar Of Flies" was too mellow and "self title" was way too obscure for them..."Facelift" is good, but "Dirt" was THE AIC album...
Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 Dirt was a cry from the depths of Staley's heroin addiction. It was one of the most raw, vulnerable albums I've ever heard.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Where can I find I Pay For My Bandwidth, Not You by Fucking Leech? Also, what sort of genre would you classify them as?
Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 ."Jar Of Flies" was too mellow I really like "JOF". "Dirt" is the best, but "JOF" is very enjoyable, too. And I'll back up either "Yield" or "Binaural" as Pearl Jam's worst. Some good songs on each, but overall those 2 are my least favorite.
Carnival 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 Where can I find I Pay For My Bandwidth, Not You by Fucking Leech? Also, what sort of genre would you classify them as? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I would classify them as "Faggot", much like yourself.

I like Lost Tapes more than Illmatic, I think lyrically Lost Tapes is just about on par with Illmatic, but the production is what puts it over the top. Every song on Lost Tapes is a classic to me, except maybe the bonus track "Fetus", I'm not really into that one. The Lost Tapes was really what Nastradamus or I Am should have been, but he went into that whole "Escobar" phase.
Carnival 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 sorry all, didn't mean it to come off so pissy. I wasn't seriously mad about it. It was actually a good joke chong. And I hate juggalos btw...I take that as more of an insult than anything. I'm suprised you didn't mention an attack with a "hatchet" *cringes* I hate that word. As for being 23 and still loving ICP...I can't sell them guys out, growing up as a teenager listening to them, I've learned more morals and values from their music than my parents have taught me. Not a diss to my parents, they just never talked about that stuff. You might be like "WTF, ICP just raps about killing people". Which is typical, ask someone who is into ICP, they will tell you, even if they are a "juggalo", that there is an underlying message in a lot of their shit. Brett Favre 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2005 no. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, they're both awesome, anyway. And Cena's Writer, you're crazy. Best: <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was going to say the Marshall Mathers LP, but he had way more variety, and sent better messages in The Eminem Show. Most of the songs in MM LP were about raping his mother, killing women, killing homos, and all that junk. I mean, sure it was entertaining, he was joking around, but The Eminem Show overall had better songs than the MM LP.
