Ripper 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2005 Yeah, I was just reading that. I also remember watching the game and mentioning how dumb of a play that was to run. It makes sense now.

Krankor 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2005 That's a really great story. I'm glad Coach Weis did that for the little boy and his family. That shows real character.
BruiserKC 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2005 That's a really great story. I'm glad Coach Weis did that for the little boy and his family. That shows real character. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have to agree...even though I hate Notre Dame with every ounce of my being. To do that for a child can make people realize that there is a lot of good people and good things about sports and hopefully make us forget for a second about the roiders, wife-beaters, and murderers. Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2005 I was listening to that story while on my lunch break and had the turn off the radio, because I was starting to tear up.
Fartsauce 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2005 I'm not a fan and know nothing about College Football. I just became a fan of Coach Weis.
St. Gabe 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2005 Cold chills, man..Cold Chills. What a teriffic story, it puts so much in perspective for you when you read a story like this. We sit here on an internet message board and hurl insults back and forth, and bitch about this inocuous garbage, and this kid asks to call a play for a college football team at 10 years old and dies the day before the game. We are freaking lucky to be here, and thats the truth. Weis is a stand up guy, no doubt.
