USC Wuz Robbed! Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 Well the Ravens avoided going 0-3. The good news is they play Detroit next week, so its possible they can string 2 wins together vs crappy teams..in fact, then they play Chicago and Cleveland to round out the month before playing the Steelers on Halloween MNF. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You honestly think they'll beat Chicago? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It might be an ugly game, but yeah. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well that's some nice purple and yellow colored glasses you got there. It isn't happening though. Baltimore barely beat the fucking Jets. No way they do any better against a great defense.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 You guys still think I'm crazy about Eli? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes.
The Czech Republic Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Now you're just wild about Eli <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Eli's wild about Mik Miguel Cabrera sulks in the background
Mik Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 But seriously, he looked real good today. He threw a perfect ball to Jeremy Shockey for a TD and he put up the best game of his career. 120 rating, 4 TDs, 296 yards passing... I'm telling you guys, he's gonna be great.

Mik Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 I said he is better now than Carson Palmer was at this point in his career and I'm definitely standing by that one.

USC Wuz Robbed! Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 You do realize who Eli was playing right? The Rams are not exactly the same Rams from 1999...

Slayer Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 "Don't you want me baby...? Don't you want me ahhh ahhhhhhhh"
The Czech Republic Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 ...torn between two lovers...
Slayer Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 ¡Aye Mexico! ¿Es usted listo para algún malo fútbal (americano)?
devo Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Man, that's a hell of a lot of people. I honestly wasn't expecting them to fill that gigantic stadium to the brim.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 First play,McCown fumble...49ers TD.
devo Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Hahaha, that replay was great. "Ready, hut! RARRRGH!"
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 I think I can kiss my undefeated Fantasy record goodbye..Boldin isn't gonna score enough points for me tonight with McCown at QB.
Urban Warfare Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Another defensive TD for San Fran.
devo Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 79 yard fumble recovery for a TD. Yeesh. The Cardinals suck.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 That SF pick is starting to look real good.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Fumble #2 recovered for a TD by SF
Damaramu Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 The Cowboys have got to stop having all of their games come down to the last 2 minutes. My poor heart will not be able to take a full season of this roller coaster shit... Horrible playcalling at the end of the game by Sean Payton, btw. The short out to Glenn isn't so bad, but he's GOT to run that pattern into the endzone; even if he'd caught that ball, the Raiders still would have won because he wouldn't have scored or gotten the first. That said, I am stoked for the Eagle game next week. Maybe Roy will say hello to TO's ankle again... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maybe Roy should work on his pass coverage skills instead... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dammit just make him a linebacker!
Guest I miss Test. Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Looks like we'll be seeing more games in Mexico, and possibly Europe, with this crowd. The NFL should have thought about moving some of the Saints games to there, but, oh well.
Urban Warfare Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 I'm not sure but I think he just said "Eli Manning had 304 scores"
CanadianGuitarist Posted October 3, 2005 Author Report Posted October 3, 2005 Now you're just wild about Eli <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Eli's wild about Mik Miguel Cabrera sulks in the background <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They call him mellow yellow(yes, I know the lyric is mad, but it reminded me). What's the attendance? The place in Mexico City looks PACKED. Makes sense. If Toronto or wherever hosted a game, I don't know too many people who wouldn't be all over it.
devo Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 105,000. Edit: Now they're saying 85,000. I'm confused.
