Guest Amy Ace Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 I don't really know alot about ROH, so could someone please explan the Huss thing to me?
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 He's doing a Bruiser Brody gimmick.
Styles Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 Or think the Bezerker from WWF circa 1992. If you still don't get it, the joke is , the men who did this gimmick were these big burly tough guys who would yell HUSS like they were vikings or cavemen or something and stomp around the ring in fury boots and beat the shit out of everyone....well Jimmy Jacobs does all of this but he's small....really small, and skinny, so it's funny.
Phoenix Fury Legdrop Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 Yeah...Jimmy's said a bunch of times that it's a total John Nord/Berserker tribute, having nothing to do with Brody.
World's Worst Man Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 And John Nord was doing a Bruiser Brody tribute
Dangerous A Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 The best thing about Jimmy Jacobs is his ROH theme song. I'm a huge mark for "The Touch". Sorry.
The Dames Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 You're got the TOUCH!!! You've got the POWER~! If wrestling claims it doesn't promote itself towards "geeks" and "Nerds" , the fact that people remember and know where this song is from is proof positive that they sure do... Dames
Youth N Asia Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 I remember seeing the guy local coming out as "Jumpin" Jimmy Jacobs, with a floppy hat and geek pants to go along.
Phoenix Fury Legdrop Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 How about the "Jumpin' Jack Man-o-War" Jimmy Jacobs, pogo stick and all? As for his entrance music...his new IWA version is even better. It starts off as "The Touch", then goes into what I believe is "The Imperial March" from Star Wars: Phantom Menace.
Guest Evolution Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 No, I think that that is the theme from Masters of the Universe.
King Cucaracha Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 It beats the Fraggle Rock theme he used.

daileyxplanet Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 It's no worse than Spanky having a stable full of stuffed animals, is it?
