USC Wuz Robbed! Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 The legends won't stick around for more than just this show. It's counterproductive to feature them on the "pivotal" show, only for it to have an entirely different feel to it the following weeks.
Guest Coffey Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 It's just when I see [MikeSC] post about wrestling, it's almost always talking about something he doesn't like, have it be anything TNA or the Attitude era. I'm not pissing here, I'm just seriously interested in what he actually finds to be the best of the best. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm quoting this so that it doesn't go ignored because I'm curious too.
Team Angle Pusher Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Is there any chance we are going to see Shelton Benjamin tonight?
Dangerous A Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Is there any chance we are going to see Shelton Benjamin tonight? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, but it'll probrably be jobbing for one of the "legends",
cabbageboy Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 I do agree that 1999 wasn't a real great year for the WWF or WCW in terms of actual wrestling (in my view ECW was actually the best for in ring work that year). The WWF mostly got by on shock TV because their actual roster once you got past the top tier was pretty shitty. It was entertaining at the time, but go back and watch most any PPV from 1999 that the WWF did. Most of them are pretty bad.
Silence Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Is there any chance we are going to see Shelton Benjamin tonight? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> With the way WWE has been with Benjamin's airtime on Raw in the past few months, it's a 50/50 chance. WWE has Benjamin appearing on Raw one week (most likely just to job). Then, the next week, WWE doesn't even have Benjamin appearing on Raw at all. Since this Raw is going 3 hours, Benjamin might have a better chance of appearing than he's had lately, but even so, he'll still most likely get jobbed out.
Lord of The Curry Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 See Benjamin come down to ring during Smackdown match. See Benjamin latch onto Benoits legs. See Benjamin scream "Take me with you".

Lil' Bitch Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 As for tonight: - I HOPE we see Austin and Hogan interact in some fashion. - I'm interested in seeing in what Piper's Pit with Foley leads up to as long as its not another fucking book shill from Mick. - Looking forward to the SD 6 Way - To see if Randy Orton attacks one of the legends - Can't wait to mark out for Jim Duggan and Koko B. Ware
Lord of The Curry Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 So, Taker will be here right? I can't not see him showing up somehow even though he isn't one of the SD 6 listed.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 This Smackdown six-way can't be anything other than a Gauntlet Match or Elimination Chamber. And having an EC on free TV would be horrible booking.
MillenniumMan831 Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Is there any chance we are going to see Shelton Benjamin tonight? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No chance. A zero out of ten chance.
Lord of The Curry Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 How ridiculous will the JR hyperbole get tonight? Peak levels rivalling anything within the past 5 years, says I.

BHK Posted October 3, 2005 Author Report Posted October 3, 2005 In honor of a previous thread involving our returning friend . . . I really hope Nash no sells the Homecoming tonight. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Team Angle Pusher Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Well the WWE probably notices TNA had a great first show and feels the need to counter that.

Jericholic82 Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 anyone see the commericals for tonight on usa? Thi smorning they did one where a bunch of raw wrestlers (like HHH, Carlito, Flair, Cena, the divas and others along with Vince) are sitting down to dinner (still in their ring gear btw) and Vince goes "Were moving" and they all start to pack up (HHH takes his sledgehammer, Vince asks "is that all you are taking" and he answers "It's all I need) (Flair leaves with a woman on his arm) (Candice and Torrie leave pillowfighting on a bed). Then they get in a van and HHH asks Are we there yet?" and Cena goes "Should I drive?) Vince drives and pulls away as the camera reveals the van dragging the RAW ring behind them. I hope they show this again tonight so I can tape it. It's classic
Team Angle Pusher Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 It has been on WWE.com for like 3 days my friend. I liked the slow motion Pillow Fight and Cena's "Yeah the Champ is Moving!" with pyro on the background. But I didn't like them breaking kayfabe, HHH looked like a nerd.

Lil' Bitch Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Makes me wonder where Piper, Flair, and Mabel went since they were in the house, but only 7 people were in the SUV.
Guest Biggles Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Cena will scrape the win tonight after probably doing the impossible when Bischoff uses half the Raw rooster to help give him the advantage.
naiwf Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Cena will scrape the win tonight after probably doing the impossible when Bischoff uses half the Raw rooster to help give him the advantage. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks for reminding me of that atrociously booked Yokozuna/'Taker casket match
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 HBK/Angle starts off the show and should end in a draw, methinks.
Guest Human Highlight Reel Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Prediction: Bischoff brings out every heel, Cena lifts them all on his shoulders simultaineously and F-U's them for the win. The Iron Man match better end in a draw, or else both guys will look really bad. If HHH/Flair vs Masters/Carlito is the main event, I'm gonna be pissed, but if he turns on Flair at least it'll keep him out of the title picture for a while....
