They said it was the first home playoff win for the White Sox since the 1950's. Think about it, how many times has the White Sox even made the playoffs the past several decades. They went to the Playoffs in 1993 and 2000 and lost in the first round each time.

This was a fun game to watch. I really feel like even with Wells on the bump, the White Sox are way too motivated to take these first two, I'm a White Sox fan from birth, and It may be short sided, but I say Buehrle takes a close game tomorrow and Ready Freddy G. Steals hope of a repeat in Boston on Friday. I've got my broom out.

Highlight of my morning: idiotic Red Sox fans ignoring the fact that their team got shelled from soup to nuts yesterday (including Manny "being Manny" Ramirez leaving 3 guys on base in his first two at bats) and only focusing on Millar trying to go to third on that grounder to 2nd.

Ummm, guys? They got killed; one questionable baserunning decision is not at fault.

Not only that, it wasn't really questionable. He did the right thing. When the ball is hit to the runner's left (or behind the runner) on the ground, common practice and accepted baserunning is to advance to third. Now, Millar is pretty slow, but Iguchi got lucky because he did not make the right play and fortunately for the White Sox it ended up working out.

Big homerun for Iguchi. White sox really needed that after Posednik popped out with first and third and one out. Boston is coming back this inning looking good though. Varitek hit a rope for a leadoff single.

Wow, I sure picked the right time to turn on the baseball game. Got home just in time to see that huge bottom of the 5th for Chicago.

It's going to be incredibly tough for Boston to pull it together at this point.

Well- Wake usually pitches well when the Sox need him to, Schilling would go in Game 4 and the Sox are great at home- anything can happen in Game 5- the Sox usually pwn Contreras, so they might still pull it out of the fire.

Wait- what am I saying?

Freaking bums blew it- back to our "oh so close but oh so far" ways.

You Sox fans have GOT to be kidding me.

Down 2-0 to the As, come back and win. Down 3-2 to the Yankees, win game 6 and should have won game 7. Down 3-0 last year, and win.

I still think the Sox are winning this series, and won't think they'll lose the series until they actually, well, lose the series. I've said their dead too many times for them to come back and win a series, and I just a have a feeling their going to do it again.

Hopefully, I wrong.

Wow, bold prediction there.

We are a frustrating bunch- but just look at who we cheer for- the Sox are hit-or-miss on such a high level that we can't help but go along for the ride.

I haven't forgotten those come back series, but have you forgotten that this is a MUCH different team this year?
