TNA Comments which don't warrant a thread

Man, if they could get Wagner and Aguayo Jr. into TNA full time, that would kick all kinds of ass. But regardless of that, signing them up for their next Mexico show should guarantee a significant gate for them at least.

Despite the fact that TNA Wrestling just added a new Women's division and already has a great deal of underutilized talent on their roster, the company is currently in talks with several free agents.

TNA Mobile sent out an alert this week stating that the company is in talks with Scott Hall, Brian Christopher and Scotty 2 Hotty. Scott Hall has lost a lot of weight and has been wrestling in Puerto Rico. With Kevin Nash on the verge of signing a new contract with TNA to wrestle, there have been reports that Nash has been pushing TNA to bring in his former Outsiders partner.

As I reported here this morning, the company is also looking to bring in 2 Cold Scorpio. Scorpio was signed to a WWE contract after ECW was revived, was never used on television and was released this summer.

TNA Bound For Glory saw the debut a new tag team made up of former WWE stars - Joey Mercury (as Joey Matthews) and Johnny Swinger (as Johhny Perisi). There have been rumors that TNA has talked to Sean Waltman, Sabu and Psycho Sid.

Booker T is all but confirmed to make his TNA debut shortly.

One of the biggest names that could be headed to TNA is Rob Van Dam. Van Dam has been a free agent for several months and we can confirm that he's talked with TNA management about working for them.

Dixie does the locker room: From Keller

At a party after the first two-hour Impact taping, Dixie Carter partied with wrestlers and let her guard down more than she ever has (the partying included, eye-witnesses say, "navel shots" being done with various wrestlers). Although many thought it was unbecoming of her, other thought it showed she wasn't uptight and was willing to really let loose around the performers. Vince McMahon has been known to let loose, too, including partying with wrestlers once in the early-1990s and having each of them give him their finisher in a bar. It's believed the Doomsday Device is what caused McMahon to have neck problems and require neck surgery shortly thereafter... The Oct. 11 TNA Impact drew a 1.1 rating once again...

Isn't that the night that Hart was talking about at the Hall of Fame where they gave him the Hart Attack or whatever.

Right now 2 Cold Scorpio, Joey Mercury, and Sandman are in a wrestling league called Pro Wrestling Unplugged which is based in the old ECW Arena and it is actully being run by Tod Gordon. He is tryin to bring the old glory of ECW back, and he is doing a pretty good job of it.

I was hoping for that Raven/Sting feud, I remember reading an old house show report of the first Goldberg/Sting match prior to their Monday Nitro encounter where Raven's Flock came out and put the beatdown on Sting. I was waiting for them to do it on tv, and they never did.

An official announcement that Austin “Consequences” Creed, who substituted for Adam "Pacman" Jones at Bound for Glory against AJ Styles and Tomko, making a great showing for himself, was offered a TNA contract, the announcement of which took place at last night’s NWA Anarchy taping in Cornelia , Georgia .

TNA Booking Director, Bill Behrens presented Creed with the envelope containing the contract in the ring, which received a tremendous response from the 200 fans at the NWA Arena, the fans that witnessed Creed’s ascension to stardom over the last 17 months. Behrens referred to the contract offer as an opportunity to fulfill a dream. It was one of the most uplifting moments in the history of wrestling in Cornelia.

Behrens mentioned the other TNA stars that once called the NWA Arena in Cornelia home including A.J. Styles, Hotstuff Hernandez, Abyss and Ron Killings.

Creed made his Anarchy debut on June 3, 2006. Right from the get go, it was obvious that he was something special. Creed was paired with Hayden Young to become one of the hottest acts in the company as Awesome Attraction. Their current six month reign is the longest in NWA Anarchy history.

That`s a pretty cool signing actually. Though, I have to admit that I`m kinda partial since Creed has been one of my NWA Anarchy favourites eversince I started watching the promotion again several months ago.

- Junior Fatu is already asking for more money from TNA. The belief is that the former WWE star is currently working without a contract.

- As posted last week, Sting has been telling people backstage at the iMPACT tapings that he plans on retiring at the end of this year. Sting and TNA are currently negotiating for a one year extension on his contract. Many within TNA aren't sure if Sting will resign or not. Dixie Carter is said to be very high on Sting and wants him to stay with TNA. If Sting signs the new deal, he would make $500,000 per year and only have to work TV and PPV dates.

Good. Sting still has a lot to give.

Not so good. But it is good if he leaves due to not getting more money.

They went with Junior Fatu because he's quite simply the biggest named Samoan that wrestles still.

The reports coming from TNA mobile that Scotty II Hotty, Brian Christopher, and 2 Cold Scorpio may be in negotiations with TNA are totally false. The company is using its text messaging service to do nothing in this case but stir up talk and buzz for the company.

Actually, they'd been talking to Scorpio since before Bound For Glory, since he was the original pick to be Pacman's replacement.

Also, it's pretty well known since Scotty became a free agent that TNA had considered doing a Too Cool reunion.

And just for the record, apparently that quote is from PWInsider`s latest audio update or at least so I`ve been told.

Apparently, Talia Madison announced via her MySpace that she has just signed a contract with TNA. So far, from the new bunch of Knockouts only Talia and Awesome Kong have been confirmed to have signed contracts with TNA.

Word is that Angle and Jeff Jarrett have made peace. The two had been forming factions backstage to vie for more control from Dixie Carter, with Sting being the only big name who refused to pick a side. Despite the differing opinions about TNA's booking it seems the status quo is going to be the way forward for now.

Probably Sandman.

Sandman and Sabu seem as the likeliest of choices. What is Terry Funk's status? I haven't heard anything of him since the ONS match, he isn't under any contract to WWE, is he?

It sounds like the NWO storyline.
