The Niggardly King Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 He's a heel, so the win would be ultra-shady of course. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Like...he enters number 30...and everyone else is eliminated by the time he gets to the ring? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've always wanted to see that ending.
claydude14 Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 I'd like to see HHH over Cena at the Rumble, Rey wins Rumble, Rey chooses to fight HHH instead of Batista. Batista/Orton still occurs.
Cheech Tremendous Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 I think it's more likely that HHH wins the Rumble and goes on to defeat Cena at WM than the other way around. They've done the HHH loses to the up and coming babyface the past two years at Mania. It would be beyond stale to do it again.
Gary Floyd Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 My picks HHH Rey Mysterio (This actually doesn't look too impossible) Edge
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 Whoever thinks he'll see Triple H "win a Rumble one of these years"...he's already one one, and it sucked.
Guest rawmvp Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 Since the Rumble is in Miami, what do you think the odds are of ROCK showing up?
Cheech Tremendous Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 Since the Rumble is in Miami, what do you think the odds are of ROCK showing up? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Slim to none.

pochorenella Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 Since the Rumble is in Miami, what do you think the odds are of ROCK showing up? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, since I'm gonna be at the event then I hope at least he shows up.
Lil' Bitch Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 I think it's more likely that HHH wins the Rumble and goes on to defeat Cena at WM than the other way around. They've done the HHH loses to the up and coming babyface the past two years at Mania. It would be beyond stale to do it again. You know I'd rather put up with another shitty HHH title reign and see him job at Mania. Him winning the Rumble and winning the title at Mania again would be gay. At least have Orton do it, he can do the quest, it'd be his first time and they can pick up with what they wanted to do with him last year.
Guest Zarock Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 I kinda sorta maybe want Orton to win at the Rumble and then at Mania. I think he'd make a great heel champion, which is something the 'E needs right now. Mind you, I don't want him to win as much as I would Spanky, or Christian, but if I had to choose a top tier guy to win it, it'd definetly be Orton.
Vern Gagne Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 Whoever thinks he'll see Triple H "win a Rumble one of these years"...he's already one one, and it sucked. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That would stop HHH how? If he wants to talk Vince into winning the Rumble, he will.
cabbageboy Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 If all we have to choose from is HHH winning, Orton winning, or Cena winning...how about just not have the Rumble?
MillenniumMan831 Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 Since the Rumble is in Miami, what do you think the odds are of ROCK showing up? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Slim to none. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And slim is walking out the door.
SuperJerk Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 Whoever thinks he'll see Triple H "win a Rumble one of these years"...he's already one one, and it sucked. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My favorite part of that was how it took HHH two minutes to get to the ring after his music started. They did this slow-ass lame stare-down between him and Austin because the plan at the time was for those two to main event WMX8.
claydude14 Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 They shoulda went with Austin/HHH and had Hall and Nash in a tag match against whoever.
SuperJerk Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 I think people were tired of Austin vs. HHH at that point.
claydude14 Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 In my scenerio, I would have never had the WWE pretend the InVasion never happened the night after Suvivor Series by non-sensically having Angle heel for saving the WWF, and Ausin non-sensically face again because Flair brought him out and declared him still champ. I still scratch my head at that. Anyways heel Austin's reign would have continued to X-8 where Super Hunter would win the belt.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 It should be someone from Smackdown, but it won't be. It should be someone other than HHH, but it won't be.
Guest Ransome Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 In my scenerio, I would have never had the WWE pretend the InVasion never happened the night after Suvivor Series by non-sensically having Angle heel for saving the WWF, and Ausin non-sensically face again because Flair brought him out and declared him still champ. I still scratch my head at that. Anyways heel Austin's reign would have continued to X-8 where Super Hunter would win the belt. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> On that same night, Vince McMahon unaccountably transitioned between between a heel and face two times each, as I recall. That whole episode of Raw seems confusing in hindsight, but I remember on the internet at the time people were acting as though it was the show that was going to turn the WWF around after the terrible InVasion. Especially considering that Austin/Hogan might mainevent (ie, be the final match) at WM 22, I can definitely see them going with heel HHH winning the title on that night. Although, I can't see HHH winning the Royal Rumble for a second time, more likely to me would be HHH pinning the Rumble winner for their title shot at No Way Out (or the Raw equivalent).
Adam Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 I would have liked them to do Rock-HHH-Austin at Mania. It was simple, have Austin and Rock hold onto the belts through the end of 02 and start of 03, and have the Rumble winner enter into a Triple Threat with the two champions to crown an Undisputed. I don't know how Hogan would have figured into it, perhaps Brothers of Destruction vs. Outsiders and Hogan-Flair, but somehow it would have worked.
