Blake Beverly over Bret on Prime Time in the fall of 92.  It was overturned but for flimsy reasons.

Yokozuna over Savage at Road to WrestleMania 9.

I think the upset would have been the other way around on the Yoko match.

Savage was still being protected and Yoko hadn't faced anyone higher than Virgil or Koko B. Ware on TV. To get a semi-clean pin on free TV was a shock to me.

Here's the Hart match:

WWF @ Brandon, Manitoba - Keystone Centre - September 22, 1992 (6,000)

Wrestling Challenge taping:

Prime Time Wrestling - 10/12/92: Bret Hart defeated Blake Beverly (w/ the Genius) via reverse decision; Blake had originally won the match at 10:10 with a double axe handle after Bret became distracted by Beau at ringside, forcing him to release the Sharpshooter; Sgt. Slaughter came ringside to tell the referee what had happened and the decision was overruled

Yoko by that point was headed to the main event of Wrestlemania against Bret. It would definitely be an upset to have him job beforehand to Savage.

Public Enemy over Harlem Heat for the Tag Titles a few weeks prior to Halloween Havoc 1996, and the hyped up Heat/Outsiders Tag Title match. No one expected this, as TPE were fodder for the Nasty Boys and not being elevated at all.

It was speculated (on TV) that perhaps the Outsiders saw TPE as easier opponents. Heat won the belts back a week later or two.

Wasn't there a jobber team from a NWA Tag tourney in the late 80's that won a couple of matches before eventually getting defeated? Wish I could remember the name though.

I remember being stunned when Balckman was beating Shamrock, but I was a Shamrock mark at the time.

Rocky Maivia beating HHH for IC belt for the first time.

Another weird/unexpected title change:

One Man Gang beating Kensuke Sasaki for the WCW US Title in late 1995. I remember seeing this match on TV, and the announcer were hardly paying attention. One Man Gang got a win out of nowhere and Tony Schiavone said something like "Hey, how about that? A title change!" Nice. It was kind of weird since OMG wasn't getting a huge push or anything at the time.

Shelton Benjamin over Gene Snitsky clean via pinfall earlier this year on Raw. I add this not only because of Snitsky's push at the time, but also because of Vince McMahon's fetish of Big Wrestlers In general.

I seemed as if the Powers-at-be (Bischoff?) at that time gave the US Title as a prize for every new guy they got. Sting handed it over to Sasaki with little fanfare, Sasaki to OMG (who was relatively new to WCW at that point), and OMG to Konnan.
