Bruiser Chong Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 Would it kill the umps to have a similar strike zone for both teams? Brad Ausmus needs nothing else against him to strike out. He can do it on his own, guy.
iliketurtles Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 Did I just hear Drowning Pool's "The Game"? Second straight year HHH has a reference in the World Series...(Nixon uses the Motorhead version).
Precious Roy Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 MIGHTY BERKMAN AT THE BAT! OMG! OMG!
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 3 1/2 hour mark. This is why 8:38 start times suck. If this game goes extra innings there's no way I can stay up and watch the end.
Mik Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 Two good games in a row - hopefully they keep up like this.
Vern Gagne Posted October 26, 2005 Author Report Posted October 26, 2005 When did Michael Cuddyer get traded to Houston?
Guest *KNK* Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 The longer the game goes, the more fun Gullien becomes.
Slayer Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 Good thing I don't work tomorrow morning
strummer Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 The longer the game goes, the more fun Gullien becomes. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He only has 1 pitcher left. Time for some fun!
Guest Brian Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 They aren't going to score again on their own accord. It's Houston's game to win or lose.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 I wonder what happens if they run out of pitchers. Position players come in to pitch sure, but being its national league game, and they've pinch hit for the pitchers a few times, they can't have many guys left on the bench to come in either.. Hmm.
Guest Brian Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 They've still got starting pitchers.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 Id be affraid to canibalize my starting rotation by using a starter in this game and then go on to lose the game. Definitely wouldnt do it if I was the White Sox. The astros I figure are in a must win position now, given they've gone this far and they cant afford to go down 3-0.
A Happy Medium Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 Well. This game is dragging on. I believe I may just go to bed and wake up tomorrow to find out what happened. I'm rooting for the Sox, but I do have to be up tomorrow.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 The entire city of houston will be calling in sick for work later this morning. In a sick way I wanna see how long this goes before its called and finished tomorrow before game 4.
El Psycho Diablo Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 The entire city of houston will be calling in sick for work later this morning. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Pretty much, yeah.
Guest *KNK* Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 Having to be @ work in 6 1/2 hours should motivate me to go to sleep but Im a sucker for extra innings.
Guest Wart Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 With Astacio and Marte now in the game, it may not last very much longer. Of course, now watch it last about 10 more innings.
Bruiser Chong Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 At this point, I'm tempted to say the Astros don't even deserve to win this. They have one hit since the fourth. Ten walks, yeah, but this team is atrocious when it comes to getting runners in. Of course, I don't wanna see the Sox win, but jeez, it's clear that the Astros are only winning via the walkoff homer.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 Warning folks. Zeke Astacio has Jillian Hall-itis.
strummer Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 Sox take the lead on a HR by Geoff Blum
Styles Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 YAY GEOFF BLUM~! Hopefully that's the end of this.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 White Sox 2005 WS Champions! No way the Astros come back down 3-0
Slayer Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 At this point, I'm tempted to say the Astros don't even deserve to win this. I was muttering that to myself back when they blew the 4-0 lead... however long ago that was
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 Warning folks. Zeke Astacio has Jillian Hall-itis. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Its pretty bad in HD..that one closeup of him.. ugh
Styles Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 No way the Astros come back down 3-0 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I sure hope not. I'm sick of all these Wild Card teams winning the Series lately. Nothing against the concept, I just think there's a certain justice to the best teams winning it all.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 Blum's hair is out of control!
