Percentage-wise, a paying WNBA fan is more likely to be gay than a WNBA player. The WNBA has been trying to downplay the whole gay subtext and market itself as "family-friendly" (as in hetero families only) mostly without success.

It's very true that there are a lot of of the LGBT crowd at these games, some with mullets. But there are a lot of kids at the games, such as my brother who is so addicted to basketball that he doesn't care who's playing.

Also, good for Sheryl I'm glad she's at peace with herself.

Also, forget Diana Taurasi, Ticha Pinechero is where it's at, trust me.

She said in the interview there's just as many straight players as gay players. You do the math.

Makes me wonder why they don't do a battle of the sexual orientations though....

Like, an All-Star game with Heterosexual All-Stars vs. Homosexual All-Stars? Maybe that'd get the WNBA some ratings. Maybe.

How about Louganis? He was gaying it up before the WNBA existed.

Next thing you know you'll tell me the only shafts some on the LPGA grip are on golf clubs...

Well I for one have never seen the WNBA as a "gay-friendly" league ever....ever
