Guest Smues Report post Posted November 3, 2005 I was channel surfing and was shocked and amazed to see Beavis and Butthead on CC. When did this start? And is it a permenant thing or just temporary to hype the new DVD set coming out next week?
haws bah gawd 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 What episodes did they show? MTV2 has this horrible habit of only looping the same 8 or 9 episodes.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 Does either Comedy Central or Mtv2 show the full episode (i.e. with the music video watching included) or is it just the regular cartoon part?
Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 when I saw it (on CC) they had a music video
haws bah gawd 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 MTV2 occasionally shows the episodes with the music videos intact. With the constant reruns of the same few episodes, I've seen my share of Pantera, Morbid Angel, Whale, and Brian Setzer.
Failed Bridge 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 Its probably just a temporary thing to help garner people's interests in the new Mike Judge collection. Doesn't surprise me though as I believe Comedy Central is also a Viacom owned channel (like MTV).
Mole 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 Yes, CC is owned by Viacom.

razazteca 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2005 The best part of the show was Beavis and Butthead commenting on the music videos! I refuse to buy the Mike Judge Collection unless I see the Funk Dat video by Saget X or Thunderkiss 69 by White Zombie.

UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2005 Chick sings: "I'm not aware of too many things, I know what I know, if you know what I mean!" Butthead: "This dude sucks." Beavis: "You know usually chicks give me like, a funny feeling. Noooo...just not working, nope." Butthead: "Damnit Beavis, this sucks! And it's a dude!" :::smacks Beavis around:::
haws bah gawd 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2005 One interesting thing could have been if they took some 1 or 2 recent videos and had Mike Judge do the guys voices over them. Imagine Beavis and Butthead ripping on some of the current Boy Bands and other random pop stars. Perhaps when the bext box set is released, whenever that may be, something like that could be added. AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2005 The best part of the show was Beavis and Butthead commenting on the music videos! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agreed--the videos without them are a rip, although of course most of the time it's just that they don't have the rights to show the videos anymore. What time is this on? I believe I saw BUTT o Ween on Sunday.
jimmy no nose 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2005 Tomorrow Comedy Central is showing episodes from 10:30 AM-1:00 PM followed by the movie.

Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 it was on sat morning again a few eps, then the movie aired. "I think you're supposed to call them "mentally superior or something" (B and B discussing what the PC term for retraded is while watching Basket Case by Green Day)
Darthtiki 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 God, how I miss B&B
UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2005 I just saw the episode w/ them ripping on "Real American"...so awesome. "He's a real American!" ______ I got the DVD set. Pretty cool. It's 3 "slim cases" (Think Family Guy DVDs) inside a silver box with B & B on different sides. The thing about it, is Judge puts an insert in that basically says: "1/3 of the show's episodes are great. 1/3 are decent. 1/3 suck. This and Volume 2 will have all great/decent episodes mixed together." And when the Pantera song starts rocking after 30 seconds, they mark out. Damnit, all these videos are great, from Beavis pretending he's "Pantera's dad" growing up, to Butthead immitating Beavis' voice.
haws bah gawd 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2005 Is anyone else pissed that most of the episodes in the boxset have upwards of a minute removed from them?
JasonX 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2005 Is anyone else pissed that most of the episodes in the boxset have upwards of a minute removed from them? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Uh, are you sure you are talking about the new box set and not the old Time Life box set? The new box set is all uncut and uncensored, as it was the only way that Mike Judge would agree to let the set be released....

UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2005 The only thing removed from the original episodes are the music videos. Each cartoon runs about 5:40. Some are slightly longer than others.
