ok i'm going for my first job interview, its nothing special, just an overnight job at Target doing stocking and shit like that. my questions are A.) what should i wear to the interview? B.) how much should i expect for a salary? and will they offer something low at first to see if they can get me to agree to it?

A.) Slacks, a fairly nice looking shirt, and clean shoes

B.) Depends on what the minimum wage in your state is.

C.) They may offer you the minimum they give to anybody in an overnight stocking position as you have absolutely no prior working experience evidently.

Not to rain on your parade... but, seriously, look for another job.

I've read enough horror stories from people who tried the late night shift at Target. Target has that "team" policy, where you won't leave unless all the work is done, and that includes entirely other departments, and you have to help them out. Some people were stuck doing 12+ hour days when they're scheduled for part-time.

The answer to A.)...a suit and tie...or sport coat, tie, and slacks. The better dressed you are the easier to impress.

ok well i got the job so thanks. I didnt say nigga but the guy who interviewed me was black though but I wasnt sure if he was niggerish enough to get down like that.

i wore a polo shirt and slacks instead of a suit cause i figured it's just target so they wont give a shit.

I hope the horror stories Leelee said arent true cause that would be some buuuuuullshit.

Anyone who wears a suit and tie to an interview at Target is going to be laughed at after they leave.

When I worked at the gas station we had a guy do just that, and yes we did laugh at him afterward. I'm sure he wasn't all up there though, considering he wasn't allowed to work the register. He didn't last long...
