EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2005 I don't have precise totals available just at the moment. A fine choice and little surprise.
Mik 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2005 If Andruw Jones won - I think I may have thrown up in my mouth. Good job by the BBWAA.
Cheech Tremendous 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2005 Not a bad choice. I personally thought Derrick Lee had the most impressive numbers, but he was never going to get the support needed because of how horrible the Cubs were this year. Just think, had Bonds not been around, we could conceviably be calling this Pujols 5th consecutive MVP award. Chew on that for a moment.

Failed Bridge 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2005 I know the Brewers sucked, but you'd think Carlos Lee would have gotten a few more votes.
Guest Leelee Report post Posted November 15, 2005 Surprised the writers finally picked the right option, this time. Also, voting for 10 people seems like a bit much. It's silly to see a middle reliever scrub like Eyre on this list...
EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2005 The worst vote getter award goes to Trevor Hoffman, who finished 183rd in win shares this season.

It prevents a third candidate from slipping in just because the top two might have come from the same market.
Guest Smues Report post Posted November 15, 2005 The right man won, and Andruw Jones came in 2nd. I'm Happy.

Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2005 I know the Braves got the playoffs and the Cubs didn't, but Jones in second is bullshit. You take out Lee and the Cubs are probably looking up at the Reds. But nope, it's all about "OMG LOOK AT ALL THOSE HOMERS JONES HAS!" We'll ignore that the Braves were utter shit prior to the rookies coming into the picture.
sfaJack 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2005 The real problem I have with D. Lee in third is that it's such a distant third. The fact that he got only ONE first place vote and ONE second place vote is absurd.
