Interesting line from the torch

Recommended Posts

There is a top wrestler in WWE today who is considered to be on the unofficial death watch, whose death, due to his credentials, would make the considerable news coverage of Eddie Guerrero's death this week look minor by comparison. It's no secret to most within WWE; if it's not known by Vince McMahon, someone needs to tell him the system needs to be changed. It's one thing to show how much you care about a colleague by crying on the air after he dies. It's another to care enough about someone to do what it takes while he's alive to keep him from dying - even at the expense of box office receipts, storyline interruptions, and being deemed pushy, nosy, or a nark.

This is from the latest torch. Let the guessing begin.

Angle is an olympic gold medalist - so that puts him above Eddie and 99.9% of wrestling stars when it comes to national media. Angle is a big star. And Angle sure as shit is the most fucked up wrestler they have. His body is deteriorating and he has to be on every drug known to man to just be able to walk. And given his nature, he won't stop till he's dead.

Angle wouldnt be much bigger news than Eddie either. The gold medal was ten years ago (and not necessarilly a front page thing in the States). Eddie was really popular with Latinos, thus making his passing more newsworthy than many other wrestlers. Kurt Angle would be as sad but would not make this past week look 'minor'.

This isnt to say that Angle might not be in shaky health, it just wouldnt eclipse Eddy Guerrero.

The four possibilities, in terms of popularity, would be Austin, Hogan, Flair, HHH. If the report (which points to a current worker) is to believed then its not Hogan or Austin.

Im guessing its the one with manboobs(that dont sag).

Not to speculate (though this is quite cryptic for them to be publishing it) With all his injuries and everything...has anyone noticed Angle's voice sounds different lately? Like within the past few months.
