Slayer 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2005 I didn't know there was anything wrong with that. Association with fans proudly sporting giant cheese blocks on their heads is quite wrong Right like these guys are any better... *cut pictures* .... THE PURPLE ARMY?! I don't see 90% of Minnesota fans dressing like that though

I don't see 90% of Minnesota fans dressing like that though <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You kiddin' me? How many Vikings home games have you watched? Most of that crowd has some sort of purple and gold face-paint, and those purple helmets with blond braids coming out of them. Sometimes even purple and gold mardi gras beads, which is kind of weird also. Although yeah, none of them are as bad as the Packer Pope.
Slayer 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2005 Who would win a fight between the Packer Pope and Darth Raider? Anyways, the Viking helmet could be at least be constructed in some dignified manner (not with the fake braids though)... you just can't dignify a giant foam cheese hat
Special K 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2005 Hey, Daunte Culpepper. You sure did better without that distraction on your team. Way to get your roll on, you fucking moron. God, the Vikings/Giant game last week was probably the worst football game I've ever seen.

USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2005 Sadly as a Bears fan, I can attest to this. The Bears are like the worst 6-3 team ever.

Special K 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2005 Honestly, it's just been an ugly football season in general. So many injuries. It seems like Defenses keep getting better, and some offenses are just outright falling apart. Bears, Vikings, Ravens and Jets on offense are just outright hard to watch. With the Colts and Steelers just outright pounding the crap out of other teams on the ground, Cincy's like one of the only fun Offenses to watch. Chargers too. Players like Culpepper, Jamal Lewis, Ahman Green just totally fell apart from the get-go with no apparent reason.

When the only thing that most people hear about is T.O, you know it's a bad year for football. Isn't that all we've been hearing about for a couple years now, anyways? NEXT QUESTION. Guest Report post Posted November 18, 2005 The T.O thing has been taken to a whole new level towards the end of last year and this year. I'm so much more interested in college football at this point that I could care less about him.

Carnival 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2005 Off the top of my head, Pro Football Teams with the most "gay dress up fans" 1. Raiders 2. Vikings 3. Browns 4. Packers
Slayer 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2005 Come on now... dogmasks and cheeseheads below the Vikings?! We can agree about the Raiders though
Carnival 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2005 the vikes are pretty crazy dude. and i haven't seen a packers game in a while so I don't know if the cheeseheads are as crazy as they used to be. I thought they would have died down by now. I always have to watch the fuckin vikings, they are considered the local broadcast for Lincoln, don't know if it's the same for you in Wichita, but those fans wear all kinds of ridiculous shit. Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2005 Viking fans are historically inaccurate. Real Vikings did not have horns on their helmets.
Slayer 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2005 Our regional broadcast preference is primarily the Chiefs, with Denver a close second. The funny thing now is that I'm trying to think of teams outside those four who are notable for fans' attire, and not just a small segment (every team has a couple) *stream of consciousness mode on* I think Steelers fans wearing those hardhats look pretty stupid. I wonder why more Bucs fans don't dress up as pirates. How would one dress up as a "Texan" anyway? Viking fans are historically inaccurate. Real Vikings did not have horns on their helmets. I believe the "horned helmet" myth predates the football team by at least a couple centuries
