4th highest ever to reach #1. And it did it without a holiday.

I thought Bob Barron was the one with those facts.

I actually saw Shopgirl this week. Which wasn't high on my list, but cuddling up with a nice girl in an empty theater is always good

That's unbelievable. How many other movies have made that kind of money in one weekend?

so.

why do Kiera Knightley's movies do so horrible in the Box Office? Is it really because they all suck, save POTC?

People are sick of Jane Austin remakes?

People are sick of bad Jane Austin remakes. She still has her fans but the remakes come like 10 years or less apart. It's getting kind of nuts. Plus let's face it, Keira just isn't a box office draw. She'll still have the Pirate movies so she'll get work.

Domino is her only "box office friendly" movie, where she could be considered the main draw.

I don't consider Jane Austen films to be "box office friendly".

Pride and Prejudice is on 221 theaters so it was not expected to be the #1 movie of the week but released at this time for the sole purpose of winning the best costume award at the Academy Awards.

No way I want to defend Pride and Prejudice, because I'm sure it blows, but yeah it only played on 221 screens and got a pretty damn high PSA.

And wow, that is some HUGE numbers for Harry Potter.

Me and the girlfriend took in Harry Potter on sunday. It wasn't as crowded as I thought it would have been, and I was entertained for the duration of it despite never reading one of the books and seeing five minutes of one of the movies on ABCFamily a few months ago.

We'll be seeing Derailed and Jarhead soon enough.

Kiera Knightley needs to add 20lbs

No, she doesn't...she's not anorexic. She has a naturaly thin atheletic build, and there's not a god damn thing wrong with that.

It's not so much that she's anorexic but she could definitely use a few lbs. in the right places.  Not much to grab hold of as is.

You mean she needs tits. Got it.

You know what you call Kiera Knightly with a better body? Natalie Portman.
