2GOLD 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2005 Orton's job is to not fuck up. That's it. At least Big Ben could find the end zone if you asked him too. With Orton it's "ok, can you try to get us within field goal range?" It's not a knock on the Bears, he's doing the job that a back-up quarterback should do. Just enough to get them within scoring range and keeping the offense on the field long enough to rest a very solid defense.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2005 If the Eagles are in the top 5-10, they try to make a move for D'Brickshaw Ferguson. No way Reid passes on a potential franchise OT, when his current ones are in their 30s and need replacing in the next couple years (Thomas immediately). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> D'Brickshaw won't get past the Texans. Might want to start examing if the second offensive lineman in the draft is worth a top 15 pick. OR a big play receiver to replace TO and give Reggie someone to grow up with. Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Report post Posted November 27, 2005 Kyle Boller cannot complete the long ball. PERIOD. As I type this, Carson Palmer completes a 50 yard touchdown pass to Chad Johnson. I'm ready for this Ginats/Seahawks game. Being a New Yorker living in Baltimore, I'm very pleased with Giants coverage this year. I think the Giants have the talent to beat the Seahawks, it's just a matter of how well they play (no turnovers, dumbass penalties or trips to the redzone that end with field goals). I don't care who you are, you won't beat alot of teams if you play like shit.
Failed Bridge 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2005 Defense is playing badly all things considered. This game could be alot worse right now, but holding them to a bunch of FGs after the initial TD isn't too shabby.

CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2005 How many times has JP Losman got in the pocket today? Probably legit 10 or 12? 9-6 panthers, for christ sakes.
Failed Bridge 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2005 Pats still put up quite the battle with both starting tackles, the team's two top running backs and the #2 reciever out along with everybody on IR. If everybody left gets healthy at the same time then who knows...maybe they do something in the playoffs. My head tells me they won't but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Guest StylesMark Report post Posted November 27, 2005 What's up with the Giants/Seahawks game? Are the holding Alexander? How's Eli and Tiki looking? I have the shitty Packers/Eagles game here...damn it...and I was getting such good Giants coverage all year. The biggest game thus far, I cannot watch. CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2005 Well, that seals my four-team teaser. Sad thing was, all the teams I picked (KC, Carolina, St. Louis and Tennessee) ended up covering without the tease, so if I'd parlayed it instead of playing a teaser, I would've cashed in huge. Oh well, shouldn't complain about a winning bet...
mike546 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2005 Alexander is doing nothing so far. Unfortuantley, Corey Webster is being eaten alive by former Giant Joe Jerivicious.

Unforyuantley, Corey Webster is being eaten alive by former Giant Joe Jerivicious. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, he's a rookie. Not like our pass coverage is good. I hope they contain Alexander, and force Hasselbeck to screw the pooch. He's very capable of blowing this game, if the Giants don't blow it for themselves. mike546 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2005 What is it with the Giants and dropping passes on crossing routes over the middle? I swear, every single week, atleast five dropped passes.
Guest StylesMark Report post Posted November 27, 2005 Who are the receivers in question? Toomer has been suprisingly good down the middle...Shiancoe drops shit all the time. I see they had to punt...and it looks like Seattle will have to do the same. Time to strike, Eli, Tiki, Shockey, Plax and Amani.
