If I tried that my girl would be quite pissed, as she gets along with her family and wants to spend time with them. Also, I got in trouble for eating before they said grace. Her extended family is from kentucky, and are southern baptists, so they are quite religious. I felt bad for my 10-year old nephew though because he wanted to watch some show on the History channel and everytime someone came into the living room, they would say "What's the crap?" or something of that nature...
