Guest Duke_The_Dog Report post Posted November 30, 2005 The drug testing meeting is given in full length. Nothing that hasn't already been reported. Kurt Angle was the 1st to speak up asking about "being able to judge over medicating of pain killers?" Vince told the boys that he will have no control over who and when people are tested. Unlike the 1992 version of the testing, Vince will be the 2nd person to find out. The doctors will report directly to the wrestlers, then Vince. Eugene OD'd on somas and passed out. He was sent home and to rehab. The boys were mad that he insulted Eddy's memory by having this occur the same week. Tatanka has officially resigned. Dave suggests a Wahoo mark is a agent. Hulk Hogan will be playing ZUES in the new movie "Little Hercules in 3-D" HHH will be getting new music from "Disturbed". Earthquake's cancer roared back, he has it in his hip and lungs. Prognosis is very bad. Dusty Rhodes and Jerry Lawler headlined a "Starcade reunion" card. The Midnight Express, Foley, Tully Blancard and others also competed. Foley said it was his last Indy booking. Akebono recently dressed as Muta for a japan match, he even blew the mist. He and muta are a tag over in japan. Yeah, he really should have waited a week before overdosing on Somas, out of respect for Eddie. And, re: Foley & Starrcade ... was he ever in a Starrcade match worth noting? I dropped out of the wrestling scene for a fair amount of the 90s, so he might have been ... I just don't know of any. Or was he just there because he's a big name, is 'old-school' and wanted the paycheck?
Vyce 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 I read about the Lawler / Rhodes Starrcade thing, which also featured a lot of Terry Funk, and god help me, it seems fascinating to me. I'd probably buy a tape of that.

RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 Muscle Relaxants. Makes sense, considering what wrestlers put their bodies through. But you can hear stories about wrestlers going through Somas like candy - Raven in particular has some nice stories about pill poppin. "Dave asked Raven about his claim to be popping 200 pills a day at one point in his career. He said he was shooting OxyContin 15 times a day which was the equivalent of 16 Percosets. When he did the math, he realized if he continued to do it he would die, and that scared him into quitting."
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 Yay! Disturbed re-do'ing Hunter's AWESOME Motörhead-played-but-Jim-Johnson-penned theme! Oh, wait...that's not good. I don't mind Disturbed, but Motörhead >>>>>>>>>> Disturbed. Heh...Hogan playing ZEUS...they should have Tiny Lister play a character in the movie, just for little nerds like me. People are upset that Dinsmore OD'd the same week that Eddie died, thinking it was disrespectful? Boo-fucking-hoo. Guy can't control when he OD's, these things just happen when you pop pills and shit.
SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 I feel awful about the news about Earthquake, as reports seemed to indicate that he was recovering nicely. I really hope the new Triple H music is a completely new song, as I am sick and tired of hearing "Time to play the gaaaaaaame~!" every single monday night. Guest Sternchen Report post Posted November 30, 2005 Sure. Maybe they are mad because Eugene did it on the Eddie Guerrero Memory Tour and was too dumb to hide it. Poor Dinsmore.

King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 Disturbed already covered HHH's music for one of the WWE CDs. At least, I think it was Disturbed. So I'm assuming it's the same song.

Guest Duke_The_Dog Report post Posted December 1, 2005 http://www.livejournal.com/community/custo...k/13763913.html The greatest comeback. Ever. This is not a theater clerk story, boys and girls - this is a retold story of a friend who works for a theme park, with an event that could easily be summarized as the most influential moment in the last two centuries. Said friend, who shall be called A, works at a theme park. I already told you this, but I thoroughly belive in setting up a story correctly, so bear with me here. She is a lifegaurd and is assigned a wide variety of duties, many of which were keeping dumbasses and hyperactive kids safe. Or, just telling them when they could go down the waterslide, which was also keeping the dumbasses (Or hyperactive kids) safe. Enter 40 year old man. He is an enigma wrapped in a puzzle wrapped in a rubik's cube fused with those paper fortune teller things that usually ended with slander. The man is diving into a three foot high pool. Please note that this is an act of stupidity so amazing it could power star drives. He dives not once, but repeatedly, despite constant warnings to keep himself from killing himself inadvertantly, and then being used for a higher purpose, probably powering star drives. He doesn't listen. Finally, it comes to conflict when 40 year old man comes out of pool to confront 16 year old lifegaurd friend. He says, as to defend his need for wanton destruction of his own body: "I am an adult, and I can make whatever decisions I want about being safe." Obviously trying to be condescending towards my friend A, as somehow, when you reach a certain age, the rules of 'Holy shit dude, you're gonna kill yourself doing that' don't apply. Next he'll be trying to jam metal into an electrical socket while trying to retrieve stuck toast in a plugged in toaster with an additional fork. Then, with a gruff voice coming from the shadow behind A, a man says: "This woman is here to keep YOU - and everyone ELSE - safe." 40 year old man's pupils shrink, the whites of his eyes enlarging, and he scampers off, terrified for his life. A smiles, and starts to turn around, speaking "Thank you-" in a very sweet voice. The man with the gruff voice and tall shadow hanging over her? Hulk Hogan. This is not me making a pop culture reference. This is not me making a joke. This is not me lying in order to make a pop culture reference that is a joke. Hulk Hogan is in a theme park scaring the hell out of senior 'I do what I want!' bitches. His muscles are relaxed for the moment, but surely, they carry the full force needed to clear out a whole theme park - nay, whole planets - of terrible customers. And he is there, smiling at A, glad to help her out with jerky customers who refuse to care about the possibility of snapping their vertebrae and neck. Hulk Hogan = awesome multiplied by kickass. Why? Not just because he is Hulk Hogan. It's because Hulk Hogan doesn't put up with bitchy customers.
Hoff 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2005 The Drowning Pool cover of H's theme would have made a great choice for his 2002 babyface comeback, but instead we got to hear the same song for four more years. Yay.
