ChrisMWaters Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 OK, I've been watching through my WrestleMania tape collection one last time before I get the DVDs, and I had a thought: Who out of wrestlers who are still alive and able to get around to places would work in the booth? Two that come to mind from past WrestleManias could be "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, who I thought did a pretty good job at WrestleMania VII for the Rockers/Barbarian & Haku match...and speaking of The Rockers...I think Shawn Michaels would work too. He did pretty well at Mania 13, and I think he did a few Raws too. Oh, and Booker T could be a good one too, judging by this past Smackdown. Anyone have any more ideas?
iliketurtles Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 Jericho was really good on a RAW once but I really doubt he'd come back for wrestling just to do that.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 Kevin Nash would be really funny as a color commentator. Him and Styles would be gold. But the best option is to pay Jesse whatever he wants and bring him back.
razazteca Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 Randy Savage, DDP, Scott Hall, Nash, Jericho, Carlito, Davari, Jazz
ChrisMWaters Posted December 8, 2005 Author Report Posted December 8, 2005 Randy Savage ... They need to bring him in for the next Hogan match, if there ever is another one.
CanadianChick Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 Randy Savage, DDP, Scott Hall, Nash, Jericho, Carlito, Davari, Jazz Fuck yeah. Her commentary for (I think) a Trish match once was just about the best guest commentary ever.

Smartly Pretty Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 If Punk doesn't pan out as a wrestler, he has a future in commentating for sure. Jericho would make a great one too.
IWD Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 Maven. Replace the M with an R. Johnny Polo was great.
Guest Edgehead Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 It would never happen but Shane Douglas would be a good color commentator. Edge, Christian, CM Punk, Juventud.
CBright7831 Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 Vince McMahon "ONE! TWO! HE GOT HIM! NO! NO! NO!"
King Cucaracha Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 Angle. It gets him out of the ring before he cripples himself and he knows wrestling pretty well, I assume.
razazteca Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 What about Harlem Heat with Coach as the b announce team? Stevie Ray: The Yaks gotz to know that Carlito cheats all the time! Booker: The Suckas always lose by rollup with tights being held! Coach: Hey now guys a win is a win. Stevie: Dont make me breakout the Slapjack! Booker: I can dig that brotha ray Coach: Don't be hatin
eiker_ir Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 i agree with Nash, he was always pretty funny when he guest commentated. i think Jericho would be entertaining too
