JN News 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2005 Did anyone else here wonder as to why Bret stopped wearing his ring jacket to the ring after he came back to WCW after the Owen tradgety? I just wanna ask that question. It's like he didn't want it, anymore, or something.
UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2005 Uh, Bret wore a leather jacket during many of his first appearences, including his "Hart Foundation" jacket. He wore the leather jacket to the ring ALL THE TIME, especially as a heel. Try again.
I like Forums 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2005 ^^ He was saying later on in his WCW run.
Guest Hass of Pain Report post Posted December 9, 2005 Probably for the same reason that Chris Jericho stopped wearing his leather vest, because it made him look ridiculous.
eiker_ir 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2005 and wasn't there a time he just wore those round black sunglasses to the ring instead of the classic hitman ones?
The Buzz 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2005 Yeah and WCW made a figure of him wearing them that looked more like Howard Stern than Bret Hart.

Boner Kawanger 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2005 Well, Russo came in in 1999 and Bret asked his old friend to take his jacket to the dry cleaners. Russo threw it in a mud puddle because SWERVES TO WORK THE BOYS TO WORK THE SHEETS SELL TICKETS, I guess?
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2005 Actually, I *meant* Bret's WCW run. He wore the Hart Foundation jacket and another leather jacket quite a bit. And JN News *meant* the later parts of Bret's WCW run, not the whole thing. (i.e. mid '99 on, after he came back from taking time off because of Owen's death)
