The Mandarin 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2005 While watching that SmackDown main event, I noticed several things- -Batista is melting at a rapid pace; his pecs are virtually gone and his legs are smaller -JBL is flabbier and has lost some muscle definition -Orlando Jordan seemed a lot more built than normal, that may be by comparison -Batista did less power moves but was still able to pull off his finisher I also noticed during different segments that Chris Benoit's shoulder muscles were smaller and Randy Orton had smaller biceps. It was a bit surreal watching this. It was comparable to watching the rapid change in the "Biggest Loser" contestants, except this seemed to be even faster. I don't mean to try and accuse wrestlers being on steroids (of course not, why would they do that?). However, the newly instated drug policy and the undeniable fact that several wrestlers have gone from cut to gut so quickly is interesting. SmackDown was a bit shocking, and not for the reasons they intended (Josh Mathews is possessed, OMG).

Carnival 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2005 I noticed Batista appeared to have saggy teats. I LOLed at Josh Mathews...that was ridiculous on WCW levels.
Guest JMA Report post Posted December 10, 2005 That gif is fucking priceless. I haven't regularly watched SmackDown! in a while so I've missed quite a lot of the wrestlecrap.
Silence 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2005 I LOLed at Josh Mathews...that was ridiculous on WCW levels. RD Reynolds is going to be doing a lot of updating to Wrestlecrap next week, that's for sure. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if he inducts the Undertaker/Randy Orton feud eventually due to the fucked-up nature of the feud (Josh Matthews "possessed", Undertaker in the mirror, bloody Bob Orton pictured inside Randy's head, Taker's voice in the background after being "killed", etc.). Silence 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2005 Yeah, Batista's one of the most visible when it comes to melting. Off-topic, but can someone confirm if Joey Styles actually said (in a mocking voice during a match with a woman in it) "IIII'mmmm mellllltiiiiiinnnnnnggggg!" while he still did commentary in ECW? I just thought of that after I read about Batista "melting".
Fökai 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2005 -Batista is melting at a rapid pace; his pecs are virtually gone and his legs are smaller He's probably restricted to anything in the weight room...you know, with his shredded lat muscle and stuff.
cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2005 Yeah I was about to say that if Batista is getting smaller it might well be due to his injury. I wonder, does him being injured exempt him from the steroid test since he could very well have a prescription to use them till he's healthy? Lighten up, guys. This UT stuff is just goofball fun. If I burst a blood vessel over every cheesy and bad Taker angle I'd be in the shape Orton's mind is in right now. The sad thing about Randy is that he's so disliked by even the heels on the roster that he couldn't find 10 jobbers to help him beat UT, even if he desperately wanted to. Epic Reine 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2005 I'm surprised no one has picked up that Boogeyman is supposed to be a parody of the Ultimate Warrior by now.
claydude14 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2005 I do not see a Boogeyman-Warrior connection at all. On the other hand, Batista shaking the top rope and Rey shaking the second in unison was a great moment, and much more Warrior like than the Boogeyman. Maybe he means the lack of ring skills/nonsensical promos. Boogeyman is like Dark Warrior or something. So...he came into the fold about 15 years too late, or he could have been a challenger for Warrior's WWF Title.

Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2005 And to add my thoughts on the show... That Super Crazy match was fucking awful and heatless for the short period it lasted. Kid Kash seriously needs to grow his hair out, dye it darker, and get new tights. The fact that much of the crowd booed when it was announced Kennedy was injured shows he was catching on. Boogeyman is fucking awesome. Give this man the World Title. I don't care if he has no idea how to wrestle.
Guest JMA Report post Posted December 10, 2005 I'd say that Boogeyman is a cross between both Warrior and Papa Shango. In any case, it looks like he has "Snitsky Heat" from now. "Snitsky Heat" is when a wrestler that would otherwise be despised by the IWC is liked because of something weird about their character and/or appearance. cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2005 As someone astutely observed, isn't the actual point of this UT/Orton feud to get Orton over as a serious main eventer? How the hell they think this feud is getting him over is beyond me. Much like with Justin Credible in ECW, I can see WWE just has a hard on for this guy and will put the title on him again despite there being zero chance that it could actually work. I wonder, how much does it take for them to finally give up on someone? I mean if they have Orton be the sole survivor 3 years running, beat UT in HIAC, win the Royal Rumble, and then win the title at WM and the guy STILL has no heat, would they finally get the picture? buffybeast 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2005 Who was that loser who jobbed to Boogeyman? I felt kinda bad for him. The Boogeyman character is dumb as hell. I don't know which is worse: his total character or Josh Matthews becoming possessed by Taker while conducting an interview? Who thinks up this shit?

The Mandarin 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2005 Did anyone else have almost a blurred/dull picture during the in-ring shots on SD? Yeah, it started for me around the Boogeyman match. The picture quality on some events, especially PPVs, is one of the biggest negatives of the last few months. Survivor Series looked like dick on my TV (as did SummerSlam) and really took away from the show. Another reason why it's better to wait for the DVD or to wait until the PPV is up on WWE 24/7. Damaramu 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2005 Boogeyman/Undertaker Wrestlemania 22......BOOK IT! If they're coming up with this shit imagine what they will think up for that feud. So is Boogeyman being played up as "oh my god that guy has weird powers!" or whatever or being played up as "What a fucking weirdo. What is wrong with that dude?" Which is worse......what UT did on SD! or Kane shooting lightening on RAW a few years ago?
