Black Lushus Posted December 16, 2005 Report Posted December 16, 2005 it wouldn't surprise me in the least...in fact, I'm really amazed Victoria is still around.
Guest jumpingbombangel Posted December 16, 2005 Report Posted December 16, 2005 To think WWE won't ever evolve is a ridiculous notion. When Vince steps aside or dies, then things will change, if not sooner. They did change from having a semi-competent women's division in '02/'03 to having strictly a T&A division in '05. Why can't they change back? If WWE is hit with a lawsuit from a female that could cause bad press, we won't be seeing as much T&A. Word. Still, I was pretty content with Alundra Blayze being the bikini-clad ass kicker back in 94-95. She was still a formidable presence even after the boob job. Not many would've called her unattractive, and yet she was credible enough to not have all of her matches be one big Lawler hoo-ha fest (another big part of the problem is the commentators just don't know how to promote strong women these days...and "she's hot" just isn't a good enough compliment anymore to someone who's aiming for bigger achievements than that of physical aesthetics). That said, they do have a competent women's division with enough tough women and acrobats to make it work. They just totally need to change the "diva" branding to something a bit more intimidating and fitting for the ring so someone takes these women seriously. Even "knockout" has a more fitting connotation for wrestling than a "diva." Kinda sad...I was watching the Rita Cosby deal last night and Trish Stratus was, as usual, trying her best to come across as a tough woman and even make comparisons to/put over the tough women fighting overseas, but Rita simply could not make the connection that WWE divas were anything close to fighting military women. Instead, it was the "geez, you girls are simply gorgeous" all the way through the interview.
Dobbs 3K Posted December 16, 2005 Report Posted December 16, 2005 See, I think that's part of the problem. I don't think WWE even knows exactly what they want to do with the "divas" at this point. It's kind of hard for them to bring in someone like Candice Michelle, who is clearly just eye candy one week, and then have us try to believe she's a credible wrestler the next week when she's wrestling Trish Stratus or something.
Guest Leelee Posted December 18, 2005 Report Posted December 18, 2005 Too bad I'm not in Buffalo. I could have crushed Amy's dreams, since I am a knockout that WWE would want. Willing to get the titties done, Leena? Remember that I'm taller than Keibler. Plus, I think I can coerce Vince into thinking otherwise, if need be.
Guest Amy Ace Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 Leelee, if your so "hot", post some pics and put your money were your mouth is.
Guest Leelee Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 Not on this forum, dear. Only bad things will ensue from that. But, just take my word that I have a more optimal look that WWE would want. Not that you're bad looking, by any means... you're a very fit gal. Good luck with your dream. You're doing the right thing by going to college. You remind me a lot of a former friend who was so adamant about being a superstar wrestler. She never wanted to go to college, though. And when she obviously failed at the wrestling thing, she became a minimum wage worker 4 life.
CanadianChick Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 I can vouch for Leena: she's a very pretty gal. I love how you said she obviously failed. Man, you're just a super awesome friend!
geniusMoment Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 (edited) I can vouch for Leena: she's a very pretty gal. I love how you said she obviously failed. Man, you're just a super awesome friend! All she needs is a nose job, a boob job and chop off about 3 inches of height and she would be okay. Seriously though, if you went to WWE lena, they would rip on your nose constantly on air, it would be like with molly's BUTT. There, hopefully I confirmed why she will not post a pic here, I am actually honest, and will not suck up to someone just because they have an Egina---which is a vagina of the internet. BTW- even if I do not succeed in the wrestling business, I have alot of other options. MMA is a viable career choice for me. I also already have my own business. And when I get a college degree, I could do something with that aswell. So I'll be alright. Edited December 19, 2005 by Amy Ace
claydude14 Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 At least you are at least trying to pursue your dream, so you can say you did. I've got a pretty athletic friend who wants to try indy wrestling, and can't cut a promo to save his life so I've though about managing him if he ever gets serious. I think it'd be a fun little thing for the weekend, probably the closest I'd ever get to professional wrestling.
Matt Young Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 (edited) All I have to say is that Amy has some impressive credentials, and she seems to have the heart, desire, and determination to make it if given the opportunity. As for the "look", hell, I'm 5'8", 125 pounds, and look like Bud Bundy, but that's not going to stop me from trying. Besides, WWE isn't the only place to wrestle. There's TNA, Mexico, Japan, and all sorts of indies. I know a lot of guys who know they'll never make it to WWE, but they still love wrestling so much that they keep doing it, for free, because it's their passion. Amy, best of luck to you. Guest Amy Ace Posted December 20, 2005 Report Posted December 20, 2005 (edited) Well, I didn't make the tryouts, so now I'm gonna go do like Tim White, goodbye cruel world. Edited December 20, 2005 by Amy Ace
Guest Leelee Posted December 21, 2005 Report Posted December 21, 2005 I can vouch for Leena: she's a very pretty gal. I love how you said she obviously failed. Man, you're just a super awesome friend! Well, it was obvious. She was a total tomboy. But, it was probably deserved because she was a huge Hardyzzz and Amy Doomah fangirl. I didn't tell her so, because this was back in my nice, immature days. All she needs is a nose job, a boob job and chop off about 3 inches of height and she would be okay. Seriously though, if you went to WWE lena, they would rip on your nose constantly on air, it would be like with molly's BUTT. Oh, I'd definitely get a nose job before I'd go on TV. That's no biggie. The other things, I don't need. Boob jobs look silly on tall girls. My 43 inch legs, and firm ass are cash money. Not Keibler quality, but good enough. My height is fine... and it wouldn't matter when they'd have me manage some untalented hoss. And I don't want to post pics here because the kids here already whine about me only posting them to be an attention whore at The Pit. Plus, the usual types will have their fun with them in HD. As much as I like to annoy these types by showing how superior I am to them... I am a female, and thus will be sensitive to any negative remarks made about my looks.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, or anything, but if you're that sensitive that you care about what people on an internet forum say about you, you might want to reconsider getting into the pro wrestling business. Cuz if you make it to the big time, that scruteny is commonplace, and 1,000x worse. And no female is exempt from it, I can't tell you how many stories like that I've heard about Trish Stratus, and she's the top womens wrestler in the world. Edited December 21, 2005 by Amy Ace
Black Lushus Posted December 21, 2005 Report Posted December 21, 2005 you don't think you'll be scrutinized, Amy? Can you handle it? Leena would get into the WWE before you did...if the WWE is your goal, you have a long road to hoe and I don't mean wrestling ability-wise...
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted December 21, 2005 Report Posted December 21, 2005 Being a women in the professional wrestling buisness is really, really hard. So yeah, you might want to prepare.
