When you're on, you're on. Of course you aren't going to pass.

The real important thing here is 2 TURNOVERS.

Chris Mihm 3-7

Smush Parker 3-5

Lamar Odem 2-5

The teammates are not given a chance to do anything.

The teamates, sans Mihm have all had great seasons so far in every category, including scoring. Without Kobe's scoring in this game, they'd be down by 15-20 points.

Are you trying to make a point here? If someone is as hot as Kobe appears to be tonight, you let him go all out especially since the game is wrapped up for them.

Well if the Lakers want to make a trade for Artest the team has to at least make Odem look good in a few games before they send him off to Indy. Those 3 for Artest would be a fair trade.

2 things.

1. Lakers wouldn't trade Odom at all, or Smush with him.

2. After what Artest said, whether right or wrong, he's not coming to LA.

The real answer here is that he needs to go to the Clippers. Then this will all be possible.

See Kobe CAN win in the playoffs without Shaq...if he can go off for 62 EVERY game. They could win.

He didn't even really play in the 4th quarter, that's the scary part.

I don't know. I think he'd bitch and moan that he's too far from New York. I wouldn't want that guy anywhere near my team.

If the Clippers traded for Artest that would guarantee an appearance in the Finals.

Who could they give up to get him.

Maggette?

I think that would be kinda fair...in a way that might be the best possible player the Pacers could get though, I could see him sliding right into their team and really making them better.

The Clippers have so many pieces and a lot of depth, so I could actually see Indiana being able to get a lot in return for Ron.

Also, Kobe won't be seeing the bench anymore. His sorry ass backup, Laron Profit, is out for the season.

Yeah.

I was thinking something like Wilcox/Kaman and Quentin Ross plus a pick. Ron's killed nearly all of his trade value, so it's going to take a real moron GM or really desperate team to be able to get anything done.

"I was so frustrated by the loss the other night I was going to will us to victory," Bryant said, referring to a 76-74 loss to the Houston Rockets.

Hard to be humble when you're great, I guess

I don't blame him. Lakers should have had that game. It's frustrating to see them do so poorly at home.

Kaman is more important to the Clippers than Maggette right now (Especially when you add that Artest is going to want S-H-O-T-S Shot shots shots, while Kaman is really keeping them solid on the inside).

I don't see why maggette is far-fetched if you consider Artest is really the better player. To match salaries it'd probably be like Maggette & Wilcox for Artest & Jeff Foster or Scott Pollard.

But the truth is Artest keeps tanking his own trade value every day.

Take the trade, bob.

Shaq is a health risk at his weight and age and Speedy Claxton is not going to get meaningful minutes as long as Chris Paul is healthy.

Webber is having a surprisingly good year, but is the same injury risk as Shaq. Still, Dalembert, when he plays, is good for boards and blocks and Mobley is good for 3's and a decent amount of assists.

Pull the trigger, I say.
