NewsRadio Season 3 DVD release date

Recommended Posts

Here's more info on the set

The 10 episodes w/ commentary are listed. "Arcade" is 1 of them, so hopefully we'll finally get a Dave/Maura commentary track. Other commentary episodes include: Stocks, Daydream, Christmas, The Trainer, Rose Bowl, Our 50th Episode, Sleeping, Mistake, Space.

Also, "The Injury" is included in this set (already was included in the 1st set), since it was aired in season 3.

Featurette's onclude:

-"Space": from table read to film

-Filming "The Mistake"

-A visit to Andy's trailer

-Joe Furey's One Man NewsRadio

Arcade!!! The episode featuring GARY!~ from What I Like About You.

The Real Deal, my personal favourite (even though Public Domain is the best episode) is also on this set.

The Arcade involved Maura hanging out in a high school and smoking right? Good stuff.

I always worried that maybe Seasons 1&2 were just released because they took time to record commentaries (it seemed to exist without a release date for awhile on Amazon) and there would not be follow up seasons. This pleases me quite a bit.

I went to Best Buy and they didn't have it out. Had the sign for it, but no copies. So I asked a dude that worked there and he was like, "did it come out today?" and I was like, "uh, yeah" and he checked in the back. Nothing.

Same for fye, Target, and Wal-Mart. What's the deal?

Oh well, I'll just nab it off Amazon like I do just about everything else.

That is the same story where I live. I check Wal-Mart and K-Mart and neither of them had the set. Color me disappointed.

Still didn't get it from Amazon (it shipped on Monday, hoped it would have arrived by today). Thanks to no Saturday mail in Canada, it will be at least Monday until I get it. I was looking forward to watching it this weekend, too.

Had a marathon today, got through some 15 episodes. I always thought Season 3 was their best stuff, although it's not as though they erred often.

Got it Monday afternoon, finished today (not counting 5 episodes I need to re-watch for commentary and some of the features on Disc 3, like Andy Dick's trailer and the table read, etc.).

What exactly was the point of slipping in "Injury" as a 25th episode (much like they did with Seasons 1+2) if they weren't going to get the unedited version? Pointless.

Other then that, good times.

Nope. Skipped right to that part to check - as with the previous DVD release of the episode, you see Bill's mouth move to say something but it cuts to a different scene.

Maybe one of you could help me out with this question:

On one of the commentaries (can't remember the exact episode) Maura calls in to say that she can't make it. While she is talking on the phone with the group Dave joins in and there is some random bs'ing taking place. All of a sudden the conversation went to about sleeping around appartently involving Marua and there is a bleep that goes for about 5 seconds. Anyone have any idea what was said? I could not tell if he said something about her sleeping with a co-star or what it was.

It also sounds like they bleep French Stewart's name in the commentary as they were discussing AA, which is anonymous. Seems kinda pointless since the anonymous person they were discussing was a guest star working with Andy Dick in the episode, and the discussion happened while he (French) was on screen, but ok.
