Guest jm29195 Report post Posted December 29, 2005 I know with the exception o the Steiner/Goldberg match, notihng was particulaly noteworthy during WCW's 2000 ppv's, with that in mind what does everyone think are the top ten matches that WCW put on on PPV from Souled Out 2000 through to Starrcade 2000? Guest KCC Report post Posted December 30, 2005 In terms of emotion, not necessarily wrestling, Booker T vs. Jeff Jarrett at Bash at the Beach would easily win.

natey2k4 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2005 Three Count vs. Jung Dragons 6-man ladder match from New Blood Rising. Knoble & Karagias v. Three Count v. Jung Dragons from Starrcade was pretty good too.
MillenniumMan831 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2005 IIRC, Awesome vs. Steiner from Spring Stampede was pretty good despite it only lasting 3-5 minutes.
Si82 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2005 The triple cage match from Slamboree is pretty good. As is Awesome/Steiner from Bash at the Beach.
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2005 Stasiak/Booker (Last Man Standing) was surprisingly good at Great American Bash. I heavily dug Vampiro/Mike Awesome from Halloween Havoc, too, especially the Super AwesomeBomb finish and Awesome beating the FUCK out of a fan that decked him in the crowd. Some praise should be thrown towards Booker/Nash (Cage) from Fall Brawl for being as good as it was considering it was NASH.

Some praise should be thrown towards Booker/Nash (Cage) from Fall Brawl for being as good as it was considering it was NASH. Especially since Nash put over Booker clean in that match. Everyone was crying and whining when Nash took the title off of Booker, but it lead to something good. Plus, a heel Kevin Nash making shoot comments is always gold. He had a beautiful promo shortly after the heel turn where he professed to the fans that he was sorry about the heel turn, and then immediately went back to heel and said that he'd be signing photos for $50 a pop outside his hotel later that night. UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2005 Booker T Vs. Sting - Spring Stampede 2000 BTW, that Ladder Match from New Blood Rising is AWFUL, full of blown spots and just really, really sucked. Much like the entire PPV.
The Mountie 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2006 The 14 person (?) tag match from Fall Brawl, pitting the Natural Born Thrillers against Rey, Juvi and various others, is tremendous. Shame about the non-finish, but that was just down to bad luck (with Paul Orndorff's injury) rather than the booking.
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2006 It was '01 when the PPV matches really took off again. I'll forever remember Jason Jett (EZ Money) vs. KweeWee (Alan Funk) as being one of the downright HOTTEST openers to a PPV I've ever seen.

I'll forever remember Jason Jett (EZ Money) vs. KweeWee (Alan Funk) as being one of the downright HOTTEST openers to a PPV I've ever seen. That was probably my favourite match of the PPV. Jett was awesome in that match, particually when he was playing up to the crowd. Also, I forgot a match from 2000. The last man standing match between Diamond Dallas Page and Buff Bagwell from Souled Out is pretty good.
