Great episode tonight. Just really outstanding.

After Jack discovered the bomb..."How could I be so stupid?" Yet he recovered in time to move everything in the room to block the door and hide under the floor. All in under a minute. JACK BAUER.

I had high hopes for tonight and I wasn't let down.

Everyone at CTU getting together to usurp Lynn was well done, but I figured they'd resolve the whole druggie sister storyline before they took Lynn out of power.

The Lynn thing isn't done yet I'd assume.

I watched the preview for next week. I feel so dirty.

This was one of the better episodes this season although Im not buying the easy copout way to get Lynn out of power.

I also wonder who the actor is thats supposedly causing so much trouble on the set is. I didnt catch the news (I didnt tivo it) but they ran a teaser about it right before the preview for next week.

Really, the guy recruits Jack, obviously knowing what the guy is all about, and thinks that just locking him in a room with a bomb will kill him? This is Jack Fucking Bauer we're talking about here.

Great ep. tonight. This is the first season I've watched from the beginning and I'm hooked. I'm going to pick up the rest of the seasons on DVD to catch up.

Hurry up and get to Target. They have season 1 for the unbelievable price of 19.99.

Totally thought Aaron was going to blow up the flamethrower as a last gasping defense, but him living makes things much more interesting now that I've seen the preview for next week--couldn't help myself.

It was a HURRRRRRRRR "the guy that plays President Logan is such a good actor that his character makes us 'hate' him in real life"

I still say Martha's dirty. Nathanson said someone else in the Government was involved... Logan's too stupid, and there's no way it's Aaron... plus, the fact that Palmer got assassinated after calling her is fishy - he didn't show she was dirty, so when he called her, she's all "Shit, Palmer knows something, I gotta kill 'em". She's operating on a higher level than Cummings, so he didn't know about her, and she manipulated the situation to get him to delete the record of the phone call because it led to her.

Ugh, Sherry Palmer Jr.? hell no

Could it be Ninja Novick,

Heller

or someone not introduced yet?

I think Mike Novick is dirty. There was something sinister about him the past two weeks, this past one especially.

Almost too easy, but I'm sure that that's an "out" for the writers...

Eh, screw it. Tony's coming back. Now there will be hell to pay...

I personally think they have done the "Mike is dirty" thing in season two (or close enough) and that ship has sailed.

I think that there isn't really any big time tension between Audrey and Jack now and assuming that Hendersen was telling the truth about the stuff being made for the DOD, then I am assuming that Audreys dad, the secretary of Defense, is your other government guy.

I did see him on another show one day so I don't know if he is even available, but if he is, then he is your guy.

Nice.

What are the odds that John Bauer will be an ass?

The writers are doing something great this season. Crazy First Lady wasn't actually a goofy time-filling plotline. Junkie sister steals the wallet wasn't a goofy time-filling plotline. We haven't had anything close to cougar attack or amnesia or even "Nina launches a computer virus LOL" this season. I'm really, really pleased.

OH MY GOD, what an awesome couple of hours.

Highlights:

- Jack shooting Henderson's wife and Henderson not batting an eye

- Aaron mackin' on the Crazy First Lady

- Tony waking up and finding out about Michelle

- Curtis saving the hospital by literally carrying the container of nerve gas out of there

- Kim seeing Jack for the first time since his death

- Nerve gas at CTU

- Edgar gets the silent clock

I wonder if Lynn is protected from the gas in holding. If not, he's joining Edgar, Carrie, and dozens of nameless others.

I think they said they're moving Henderson to a clinic area. If so, I hope we get a couple of episodes of him and Tony interacting.

Good episodes, but outside of Jack, I'm having a hard time caring about anyone else. Pierce getting a bigger role is great, he's been a nice change of the usual thing. The VP thing seems thrown together, the guy looks like a goon, not a VP.

Jack eyeing Kim's new boyfriend (as well as whatshisname trying to mouth off to Jack) was enjoyable, as was how they wrote her character as being completely oblivious to how this affected everyone but her. She wanted to know, she didn't know what to say, and essentially, she couldn't forgive him for not giving her classified information that no doubt saved her life.

Poor Edgar. That was tough to watch. Silent countdown...:(
