The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2006 Mack Brown wins, and now Bill Cowher wins. The world, as we know it, is over.Don't forget, Roy Williams. So now who is the most notable choker coach in sports? Jerry Sloan

Boon 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2006 It's funny, because if the Patriots were the beneficiaries of each and every call, this board wouldn't care at all congrats Steelers Oh for Christ's sake Czech, fucking get over it, man.
Guest Report post Posted February 6, 2006 Holmgren's a shitty coach, but in no way can you guys blame that game on the refs. Blame it on Josh Brown, if he kicks those field goals, that situation at the end is totally different. Seattle had plenty of chances, they just had shitty playcalling and a shitty kicker. Guest Smues Report post Posted February 6, 2006 That was quite the awful play calling at the end. Hey we're out of time, let's throw 2 yard passes!

Urban Warfare 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2006 If I'm not mistaken, a bad call is what put Josh Brown in a position to kick that 55 yard field goal. I may be wrong there, so don't quote me on that. Another call that pissed me off was the "holding" on the play where Hasselbeck gunned one to Stevens and Stevens was down to the 2 yard line. Next play was an interception.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2006 You can blame the refs all you want, but you will go back and realize just how atrocious the Seahawks playcalling was.
death_by_burrito 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2006 Yeah, I hate it whenever kickers can't make 50 plus yard kicks during the biggest game of their life. No pressure at all. I mean, they do it all the time during the regular season!
Boon 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2006 Please tell me that the MVP is Ward.
The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2006 If the refs are soooooo biased, how did the Giants and Raiders lose to the Ravens and Bucs?
snuffbox 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2006 Yeah, that Mike Holmgren really blows...any coach can take two teams to three SuperBowls after 30 year droughts. And those refs were wonderful like cotton candy...the Jackson interference call and Ben's touchdown dive was only an incorrect swing of 14 points.
NYU 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2006 It's funny, because if the Patriots were the beneficiaries of each and every call, this board wouldn't care at all congrats Steelers Oh for Christ's sake Czech, fucking get over it, man. It's just a little tough for me to handle, you know? Czech, I like you, but you have to look at this game for what it was. The officiating WAS biased here towards the Steelers. And at times, the bias was blatant. There's no doubt about it.
Guest Wart Report post Posted February 6, 2006 I'm sure the Steelers have a great team, but it just looked like tonight the refs won the game with their horrific calls, and the Seahawks lost the game with their pathetic play calling. The Steelers were just there.
The Robfather 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2006 Seahawks lost because they couldn't force a 3 and out when it mattered
death_by_burrito 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2006 I love how the whole city of Detroit knows their team sucks, so they jump on the bandwagon of a winning team.

Guest Smues Report post Posted February 6, 2006 Huzzah for it being Hines Ward. I was afraid it'd somehow be Ben.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2006 I'm not a Pittsburgh fan, by any means but blaming the officials is just an excuse to cover up the fact Seattle played like a JV team out there. Ward, rightfully takes the MVP. I'm sure he'll credit Bettis.
snuffbox 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2006 Im surprised by how many Steelers fans are on TSM these days...
death_by_burrito 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2006 I love how there are a shitload of rich people in Pittsburg, who just so happened to buy Super Bowl tickets so they can cheer their team IF they won 3 straight road games to get there. Also, considering they sucked most of the middle of the season.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2006 Seattle lost because they read, "Donovan McNabb's big book of clock management". Hines Ward deserved the MVP like he deserved the new contract. Classy player and a damn fine won at that. And to Plaxico Burgess, HA HA And Bettis just retired.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2006 If the refs are soooooo biased, how did the Giants and Raiders lose to the Ravens and Bucs? There were some bad calls against the Ravens in the Super Bowl but the Giants couldnt do anything against the Ravens defense.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2006 Im surprised by how many Steelers fans are on TSM these days... I've seen maybe 3-4 people openly cheer for Pittsburgh, the rest are people who just can't find Seattle interesting or realize Seattle played a bad game, regardless of the referee's antics. 2GOLD 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2006 Damn, Bettis announces his retirement. It was smart. He's got nothing left to do. He got a Super Bowl in his hometown, what better way to leave the game?
