This time he was talking about how Memphis shouldn't even be in consideration for a 1 seed. His reasoning, there should be a 5 year evaluation performance evaluation period before you can even sniff one, and that the big 6 conferences control these seedings. He needs to be run over by a truck. Yeah, I heard that. He also used that reasoning to explain why the MVC didn't deserve all the bids people are saying they should get. He probably doesn't think they should get any more than the automatic bid. If Packer was running the selection committee, you'd probably see every single team from the 6 power conferences that was eligible for postseason play getting a bid. Fucking elitist.

God help us if Ohio St wins today, Packer will be screaming that the Big 10 champion deserves the #1 seed. And hell, I like OSU but even I don't think they should get a 1. Plus this is the year honestly teams should want to avoid the one seed. The collection of three seeds are going to be so so at best while the four seeds are going to be some strong teams.

I still have Texas being dunked in round 1, unless they get a different draw than I'm expecting. What they are getting now, I can see them being the upset special. Kansas will go the deeper than Texas. Mark my words it's true.

And fuck Texas, I'm glad people who know more than I do agree that they're a weak tournament team. But I do care about this Big XII title game, as I've never disliked Kansas and am just plain tired of sports also being dominated by the state of Texas.

Iowa could make a run since they're a senior-laden team, but I don't trust Alford coaching. If he wasn't an IU alum he would not even be in the conversation as the next coach at Indiana.

Yeah...but Texas did just win the NCAA football title, Houston did make the World Series last season, San Antonio won the NBA finals... Texas has kind of controled the sports world lately.
