He also misspelled compliments in his ass-kissing.

I hope Iona gets at least a 13 seed. There's a team that could upset a reeling middle seed.

And speaking of misspelling, I wouldn't talk if I were you (Thank god I'm not). Before you talk about Hofstra's Bubble chances again, learn our players names, let alone spelling them right. :bonk: :asshole2:

Moving on from your failed attempt of a dig, lets recap tonight in full.

UNCW wins over Hofstra. I gotta give special props to my school for leaving it all out on the court, and making a game out of a sure blowout. Nothing would make me happier than to see Hofsta get the call on Sunday. But there's still 5 days left, and lots of games to be played and a weekend full of decisions to be made. With that said UNCW looked sharp, and complete as a team. They're going to be tough game for anyone they come up against

In the MAAC, despite Iona losing the regular season title and the bye to the Semis to Manhattan, they complete the destiny that was pre-ordained for them since December. Handling St. Peter's easily, Iona heads into the NCAA tournament after winning the ultimate prize the conference has to order. As for St. Peter's, they say goodbye to Keydren Clark who has lead that program from the abyss to 3 straight winning seasons. Clark is the all time leading scorer in the MAAC, for the state of New Jersey College Wise, the Mid Majors and 6th all time as of Monday Morning. Despite not making the NCAAs, he will go down in the record books. One can only hope that he gets a shot at pro-ball.

Finally in the WCC, Gonzaga does it again, winning their 8th WCC Championship in dubious fashion, needing every minute of the clock to beat the powerhouse that was Loyola Marymount with a record of 12-18. The Lions were fueled by emotion and great inside play until the last second where they choked a winning layup. Gonzaga wins their 40th straight road game and their 28th in the K-2, which brings them to 28-0 (The New Kennel). Despite some urges to do so. Common sense prevailed and the fans decided not to rush the court.

With the 6 Bids already handed out, these 3 join them to bring the total up to 9. So far, the wall of champions looks like this.

Big South: Winthrop

Atlantic Sun: Belmont

Ohio Valley: Murray State

Southern: Davidson

Missouri Valley: Southern Illinois

Ivy League: Pennsylvania

Colonial: UNCW

MAAC: Iona

WCC: Gonzaga

You were the one that felt necessary to childishly insult me in the TNA forum for my opinions. You be an asshole. I be an asshole.

As much as I'd like to discuss college basketball here like I do at other boards with normal people... it's impossible to with blatant sexist twats like you. Because you had no reason to attack me in the first place.

And besides, you're not even here for conversation. You're here to post facts and kiss ass with the "respected" people here.

Am I not the only one who thinks Gonzaga will make another early exit this year? They've had a ton of close calls against teams in their conference which aren't ranked too high with regards to the RPI, and I don't think they'll get as many calls in the tournament as they do during their home games against WCC opponents.

This may be old news, but there are rumblings that Mike Montgomery, the former Stanford coach and current Warriors coach, wants the IU job. He'd be a great hire considering how he did with the restrictions at Stanford, imagine what he could do with more freedom at IU.

I wish he'd come back to Stanford. Only took them until his second year gone for them to wind up in the NIT. The way the Warriors season has fallen apart I do think he'll be fired at the end of the year. Still to this day I can't figure out why he even bothered.

Leena, let me just apolgize for the TNA attack. It was unwarranted, and I overreacted. As for the asskissing remark..considering that Bored usually does great work with the Football side of college sports. I took it as a major complement.

Time to take the high road here and take this E-Spat to the PMs if you wish to continue it there. Otherwise, I don't want to soil this any futher. I've already done so by taking it to you in the first place.

Now for the Gonzaga game. The thing that impressed me the most was Morrison's (and everyone else who played) unselfishness and abality to create shots for the rest of his team. While he only had 26 points, (it's morrison so that's the only reason why I said, only there were many key shots and buckets that helped create for Batista and the other players on his. I would use these past two days to support the evidence that Morrision is damn complete player who can not only shoot, but pass and play good defense. But the WCC is down this year, and for Morrision to truly silence all questions, he's going to have to perform big in the tournament.

You haven't watched Morrison all year. The man is anything but unselfsih most of the time, and gets schooled on defense all day.

What the fuck

I agree.

I mean they played the toughest schedule in college football last year but I don't think the basketball schedule or performance is close to being that high.

Acutally I have and i so agree with your statement. If anything I'm kinda shocked as to how he played in this game. Hell, I'll go one futher and say that Morrision's inabality to be unselfish at times is part of the reason that causes Gonzaga to nearly lose to scrubby teams when they should win by 20. Like I said, he still has alot to prove, lets see him do that stuff aganist a Wisconsin, Boston College, Pitt or even a Nevada type of team. Then we'll talk about whether he can silence those critics. This stuff shows me he can play defense and pass the ball when he wants to. But is it only aganist this level of team in front of a full house at his own home court? We'll find out in 9 - 10 Days.

I thought they'd be in the 30-40 range.

If Morrison doesn't score around 30 in every NCAA tourney game, the Zags will lose, and yes that's even including their first round matchup against a 14+ seed. The rest of that team is the drizzling shits and will lay down under that kind of pressure.

I don't Gonzaga will lose their first game, unless the whole damn team goes cold in every aspect of the game. (And no, i wouldn't be surprised if one, the other, or both happened. But if they don't pull it together, find another scoring option and play unselfish ball, then the Zags will be out by the second round to some hungry 7th Seed. IMO, the first round game is going to show us whether they have a run in them or not. They play this way. They're done.

They nearly lost at HOME to a team that won't be in the NIT and if Morrison isn't POTYC Adam Morrison in every game I would not be shocked at all to see them get beat by some scrub team who gets raped by the 6/7 seed in the 2nd round.

Big East tourney starts tomorrow. Nearly all the games have implications since there are bubble teams, I also think the Georgetown/Notre Dame game could be a suprise for the Hoyas, since ND hasn't been blown out in Big East play all year and Georgetown seems like they're kind of down right now.

Wow, it seems like all 3 Championships games are itching very close to a blowout city.

Oral Roberts handled Chicago State to redeem itself from last year's loss to Oakland 85 - 72

Wisconsin-Milwaukee defeated Butler 87-71

South Alabamba is handling Western Kentucky 81 - 55

Well after all the talk about how bad Kansas was this season they sneak up and win half of the Big XII title(for the second year in a row) and maybe a good seed.

I hope they get a better seed than OU. :P

Well seems how they're tied for first in the conference and OU is #3 in the conference AND they beat OU in a head to head match up they should get a better seed or something is wrong.

Well, it's doom or die time for Syracuse today up aganist Cincinatti. If they lose this game, Syracuse is heading to the NIT and G-Mac's carrer in college is going to end uncermoniously unless they win the NIT. Even then, I don't think he even wants that. Nethertheless, either he, Devendorf, Roberts, Watkins, any combination or all 4 of them have a great game, then they're sure to be a 1 seed in the new NIT.

Not necessarily. OU is 12 in the RPI, where Kansas is in the 30's. All on strength of schedule.

McNamara just hit the shot of the year right there. A running 3 with .3 to go to put Syracuse into the next round of the Big East tourney.

ONIONS!

'Cuse needed that game so bad. McNamera had to do it for himself there. I hope they can pull off another upset win in the tournament because Gerry shouldn't end his career in some lowly NIT game.

I doubt he wants to play another game at home, after the emotional senior day.

If 'Cuse pulls off another upset, they may squeak in there (although, it might not be enough). 9 teams in all for the Big East would be insane.

Yes, but Syracuse isn't winning that. :(

I don't know if Cincy is in now, either.

That shit was bananas. Mcnamara hits his best 3 pointer since the 2004 BYU Game where he single-handley beat that team. What a finish. Syracuse survives its turnovers and blowing a 12 point lead to win the game at the last second.

Despite the errors, it was a well fought game, and the Bearcats suffer no shame in losing that game, escpecially after fighting back. But with a very weak and crowded bubble, Cincinnati may be in trouble on Sunday. We'll see.

If Mike Montgomery wants to stay on the West coast theres a very good chance that Ernie Kent at Oregon will be fired pretty soon.

Yeah I can't see Cuse winning tomorrow unless UConn just doesn't care thinking that they have the #1 seed overall alread locked up.

Cincy will depend on what happens with the other tournaments. They should root for GW in their tournament because if GW gets upset, the A-10 will get 2 bids.

Cincinnati's lock status confuses me, somewhat... especially compared to Maryland, who has the same record, and also many tough losses against the best teams in the country.

Jim Boeheim goes apeshit on ESPN. He goes on record and says that without Mcnamara, his team wouldn't win 10 fucking games this year. Calling all the papers (including the student paper), and assisstant coaches (Who he says, will never be Head Coaches.) full of bullshit.

Draw your own conclusions people.
