iggymcfly Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 So wait no one liked seeing Christopher take a pop at Lauren Bacall? I loved that. I started laughed hysterically as soon as he punched her, and I'd definitely consider it the highlight of the episode.
Guest StylesMark Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 I enjoyed the episode. Little Carmine is a fucking retard. Benny and Artie BOTH have death wishes. Phil shows his heated ways. The show is over, shortly. I'm glad some of these supporting characters are getting fleshed out.
Lt. Al Giardello Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 Did they actually announce that this is the final season? I really doubt it is, they've been saying that they are going to end the series years ago. Christopher knocking out that old actress was without a doubt one of the greatest Sopranos moments. Christopher and Pauly have the most memorable moments I think. Espically when they got lost in the woods.
AboveAverage484 Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 I think they've got about 10 or 11 eps total this seasons and then a "bonus" 7 eps to be shown next year, as they were going to be a movie, but Chase decided to just make a mini-season 7 out of them instead.
Guest StylesMark Posted April 28, 2006 Report Posted April 28, 2006 Yeah, Chase announced something like that. This is a 12 episode season. Then there's an 8 episode mini season. Pine Barrens was a great episode, Holyfields Ear.
Urban Warfare Posted May 1, 2006 Report Posted May 1, 2006 I missed the last episode. Can anyone give me a quick recap? Thanks in advance.
Hawk 34 Posted May 1, 2006 Report Posted May 1, 2006 I missed the last episode. Can anyone give me a quick recap? Thanks in advance. Basically, Bobby(one of Chris's guys) was dating Artie's new hostess and they ran a credit card scam. Artie found out, beat up Bobby. Bobby retaliated by burning Artie's hand. Artie, is losing alot of money. Tony tried to pay it off but Artie wont let him. Chris, went to hollywood to meet with Ben Kingsley for a movie part but he basically blew him off. Chris was in love with the hollywood scene so much it only took 2 scenes to get high again. The highlight was Chris and his partner attacking Lauren Bacall and stealing her gift basket from an award show.
Hawk 34 Posted May 1, 2006 Report Posted May 1, 2006 This has been a pretty solid episode, even if it heavily involves AJ. He really is a moron. In every sense of the word.

Hawk 34 Posted May 1, 2006 Report Posted May 1, 2006 Right, Benny. Anyways, pretty solid episode this week as they actually had interesting stories, scenes and character advancements.
Lt. Al Giardello Posted May 1, 2006 Report Posted May 1, 2006 I really can't stand the kid the plays AJ. Horrible actor. I honestly feel so bad for Vito.
Hawk 34 Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 +1 for Brokeback Vito Who wants to bet one of the guys takes his goomar up to New Hampshire and sees Vito with the guy? I'd personally love to see Paulie end up in New Hampshire, he'd have no idea what to do alone.
C Dubya 04 Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 Where's Paulie been anyways? Is this two straight weeks he hasn't been on?
AboveAverage484 Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 Maybe he's (the actor i mean) been having back problems again. That's why he was in jail for the majority of season three or four, I can't remember.
Urban Warfare Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 Actor John Ventimiglia, who plays troubled chef Artie Bucco on the TV show "The Sopranos," has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and cocaine possession in Brooklyn, authorities said on Tuesday. He was at least the fourth cast member of HBO show about a New Jersey mob family, now in its sixth season, to be arrested in the past year. Link
Hawk 34 Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 Hey random question, If AJ wants to be a club owner so much...Tony should get the club that Adriana ran (I'm assuming Sil took it back) and see if AJ knows what he is doing. Tony wouldn't lose any money and he can have Silvio look over him.

Tony wouldn't lose any money and he can have Silvio look over him. AJ isn't 21 yet so I don't know how well it would work. I think they mentioned it somewhere in the last episode.

Doesn't mean AJ can't work there. AJ needs exposure to the actual business aspects, he can be Silvio or some new face understudy and learn the tricks of the trade.
Guest Vitamin X Posted May 3, 2006 Report Posted May 3, 2006 But then I think Tony would have an issue with that because it's essentially introducing A.J. into his OTHER family, which it's been known from the very beginning that he doesn't at all.. and is fairly often seen in mafia movies and shows as well.

Maybe he can use someone outside the family (or someone who owes him) and Tony just keeps tabs on the guy, which could distance the family from AJ's efforts of learning the club business.
Guest StylesMark Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 Oh my...Christopher is married and Tony has him drinking.
Hawk 34 Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 I get the feeling we are seeing the start of the cracks in Chris's foundation (marriage, drinking and drugging, reflecting more on Ade, the scene with Tony and the impluse house purchase).
Guest Vitamin X Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 Tonight's episode I felt dropped off a bit from last week. Some interesting points, and I can't wait to see who gets killed next week, probably Vito since he's back now. Looking forward to Bobby getting revenge. I liked the linking of Janice showing all the signs of her inheritance of Livia's personality, especially at the end.
Ravenbomb Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 nice editing on going from Vito and the Fireman in bead to Bobby's toy train going into the tunnel
World's Worst Man Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 I loved how they were watching a CFL game in the house right near the end of the episode. (I recognized the announcers voice)
